Troy always seemed so robotic and weird to me that i thought it was INTENTIONAL and was gonna lead to some reveal about his origin or something. Why else did he have that precog dream? Maybe it was something that was planned and dropped.

martial arts is always a part of PR. There were multiple scenes in Megaforce with Troy doing martial arts. The rangers being active/training is exposition to explain their abilities while morphed.

Everyone has to have some type of fight training to audition. Multiple actors have said that it is part of the audition process. Along with how they look while running.

Yoshi Sudaro is a martial artist. He was a stunt performer before becoming a Power Ranger. He and Brennan constantly post pictures of themselves doing athletic, acrobatic, things. So the answer to your question is they have already.

Pretty much a pre-requisite for becoming a Ranger is to have some form of Martial Arts training, I dont think its required, but its needed. Yoshi aka Koda is a martial artist.

Id say for most original either MMPR season three or RPM. Most sentai footage? I feel like itd be Super Megaforce or Samurai

Last I heard Lightspeed Rescue used mostly sentai footage which is why we didn't see the Titanium Ranger all that often

Don't MMPR 01 used a shit load of Sentai footage.

They used tons. They also recycled alot of the same scenes for Tommy since he had more screentime in MMPR than Burai had in Zyuranger.

Do you guys think the upcoming PR movie can make the series more mainstream similar what Transformers did? Micheal Bay's TF movie did made the series more mainstream then it was 20+ years earlier.

The problem with the reboot movie bringing PR into a more mainstream status, is that the team will be completely different along with the suits and powers.

Transformers works because there is always Optimus and Bumblebee, but with PR and the changing team, folks may start watching in hopes of seeing Jason, Kimberly, Billy, etc, but instead will get Tyler, Koda, and Shelby. So they can't go into it knowing who the rangers are.

For those who have seen Voltron, I was wondering, who do you think are the Power Rangers equivalents of the Voltron Force?

Here is what I think:

• Keith - Tommy because both are natural leaders and have similar personalities.
• Lance - Zack because both are second-in-command.
• Pidge - Justin, for obvious reasons.
• Hunk - Jason because both are strong.
• Princess Allura - Kat because Allura is the love interest of Keith, just as Kat is the love interest of Tommy (sorry Tommy/Kimberly fans, but those are the facts).

Was the RhinoSteelZord physical, or an animal spirit?

Never actually thought about that one. It was shown to have a physical form in stone, then when Dom activated it, it became alive. I dont think he called on it like the others did (using that hand movements and activating the spirit out of themselves). He more or less used the control dagger and it appeared. But given all the zords of that season were more spirits until they combined into the Megazords, Id say the RhinoSteel zord is one of the few physical animal spirits.

I am referring to the original Voltron Force, not the new version on Nicktoons.

Depends on if its good or not.

If it's a good movie then I doubt it unless the marketing sucks. If the movie is bad then it will kill the chances of Power Rangers on being adapted on the big screen again for another 20 years.

I think even if the movie does poorly in the US, the movie will likely do well in Asia. The movie will likely do well in China, Korea and Japan. Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight and Godzilla 2014 did pretty well over in Japan. So anything is possible.

Would be better a simple remake of the show than a reboot ?

That's a good question. I have no misconceptions on this movie being good but it's not looking like the mess that is Fant4tic.

well, in retrospect, both Dragon Knight and Godzilla 2014 were good in their own right.

That'll mark the 25th anniversary. I can't wait for that, I'm expecting a lot of Legacy items to come out.

I hope to be better than megaforce/super megaforce.
