Already? I looked on Nyaa about a week ago and they were only in the 30s.

They uploaded a huge package of episodes today, from the late 30's to 49 and also the summer movie. But I think they only have DDLs atm.

They were up on Nyaa today. I looked after I saw your post. I also found some Turboranger fansubs on there. Four episodes and they look to be brand new. I'll have to go to the folder I saved them in so I can post what the name of the group is.

I haven't really been in this thread for a few weeks, and when I was, it was really just to say Carranger was finished and that was it. I haven't ready anyone's posts until just yesterday.

I guess that shows how much I have been paying attention as of late. To be quite honest, I just haven't been in a Toku mood this year. Part of it could be because I was focusing on my Godzilla reviews, so that has kept me busy these last five months. Hell, I bought the Power Rangers 20 years box set in Feb and haven't even finished the first season yet. The only reason I blew through Zyuranger in 4 days when it came out is because I was doing a review of it.

Usually by this point I have watched 2-3 Toku series in full and I haven't done that at all. Ohranger has been about the only thing I have been watching and that is because that is not a show I want to get too far behind on. It just isn't good enough for my brain to handle 25 episodes in a day.

Is there a sub of the Ninninger/Drive crossover anywhere?

you're crazy, the way shout is releasing, Ohranger won't be out until 2017 or 2018 at the earliest if at all and MFC are ten episodes from finishing. they would have to really slow down on releases to get beaten by Shout

I hope I am. But I've seen several fansubs peter out in the 30s (GUIS's Bioman, I'm looking at you), so it's not that out-there of a fear.

I just know that a lot of fansub groups are taking a hands-off approach to untranslated 90s Sentai, in deference to Shout's (maybe-kinda-sorta) inevitable releases.

This is too funny.

It's also why I should stay out of the toku twitter-verse. Too many hair-brained conspiracy theories that get me all twisted. :lol

GUIS Bioman stopped at 30 because Tom went to Japan to hit on Sakamoto and stopped translating the French subs.

Perhaps we could both stand to lighten up. :)

Goranger has been a wonderful series so far. Really enjoying the subs. Any other series I should try and pick up next? continue going in chronological order? skip to the new stuff?

Depends on what you mean by 'new', I think. If you mean Ninninger, I personally don't think it's good...

I would wholeheartedly suggest Jetman or DaiRanger, though. Perhaps Sun Vulcan if you fancy the vintage stuff. DekaRanger as well, but I'd recommend for you to wait for Over-Time's subs on that particular series.

Bad Apple stopped awhile ago, yes, but Rampage has kept going. Episode 43 should be ready sooner or later. (:

Another one that might be worth your while is Go-Busters. It's modern, but some people don't like it because it got retooled to become more generic. I hope that you enjoy my recommendations, in any case. ^^

I also enjoyed Go-Busters, and it has quite possibly one of my favourite recent villains.

Angel's other recommendations are spot-on, though I'd definitely add Shinkenger to that list, one of the best post-2000 shows.

I'm gonna put it out there: I liked Maskman. YMMV.

Dairanger is being released on DVD in Nov, so I say he should just wait for that. Pick up the Zyuranger DVD set though and watch that right now. However, if you want to go in order, you can't really go wrong watching Jetman-Time in order. Or rather, Jetman-Gingaman since GoGoV and Timeranger are not even close to being fully subbed and probably won't for several more years. Hell, we could have subtitled DVDs of those series before the fansubs get even halfway through the series.

Rampage? I thought the group was called Delta?

There's a technical issue holding Time back so I agree, but I wouldn't be surprised if GoGo V is finished by next summer or so. Maybe even before that. Muh boyz down at Imagination Station are diligent, y'know. :P

But yeah, GoGoV is up to 33 in terms of translation. First batch should be out... maybe around the end of September depending on if everyone in the group can do their stuff without irl stuff happening. No promises though.

I must be in the dark about something because Hinotori hasn't released anything from GoGoV beyond episode 15, which was more than a year ago.

As for Timeranger, it wasn't even mentioned in Overtime's recent updates and I don't know the last time Nihon subbed an episode.
