It's a terrible terrible rider film that succeeds at being a very poor horror film unintentionally. The First was slow, but decent. The Next is downright unwatchable.

The Rider stuff was good, but it was also just a subplot to some lame-ass Ringu knock-off J-Horror.

Man, Skull deserved his own movie. His portion was practically flawless.

I heard once that someone had taken all his movie and episode cameo footage and compiled it into a whole film of sorts. Never seen it all spliced together like that, but I wonder if there's enough to even really make it coherent when it's all together like that.

I would have gladly given W portion in Core to Eternal, and given the V-Cinema to Skull, would have made more sense and it would have given room to a better backstory to Soukichi.
Then again the MV for Nobody's Perfect was already great backstory for Skull despite lasting 4 minutes. :P

Eternal isn't enough of a character to exist :p I could have gladly done without his V-Cinema, especially if we could've gotten a Skull film out of it.

W Forever was rather popular, I guess that at the time a spin-off of it sounded like a good idea.

I liked him too, at the very least he was an entertaining antagonist. And a villanous Kamen Rider in W opened some very interesting discussion over what means to be a Rider.

Then again I love everything W related. :p

I have no idea who this is. So I looked him up, and that has to be one of the worst Rider designs I have ever seen. He looks like a mock up, a prototype, completely unfinished. I clicked across hoping Red Flare was just the base form, but then the other ones just added a cape and green glow. How shit.

Red Flare it's mean to look incomplete since it's not the true form of Eternal, but it is bland as heck; as for Blue Flare and his Super Mode personally I like them, but they are basically the W suit in white and without the cool details so I can understand why you hate it.

Because it's 90 minutes of Minase Yashiro in tiny shorts and that is awesome.

Her sexiness can't even save that film. Eternal was a non-character in A-Z anyway, so seeing him star in his own movie was just about the most random thing I could have imagined at the time. To start the costume's a fairly simple pallet swap and remold of the base W body, but not in the same way that made Skull awesome, Eternal came off generic and cheap looking. But he was characterized so poorly in his first film, then it was like Toei decided he needed to be some kind of badass anti-hero for the V-Cinema which made no sense. And he really wasn't either.

If you're out there and you like Eternal that's cool, I just don't share the sentiment. Would I own his figure one day to fill out my W display? Sure. But I really don't care for the guy enough to seek the SHF out.

All this talk about Eternal is making me want to watch his movie! :lol


So decided to take a break from Kabuto and watch some more Decade, in Blade world... SO they are a company that is based off of cards? These AU worlds are weird, were the writers high half the time?

So still in Blade world, episode 9.

1- What the hell was Hibiki doing there? I wasnt paying much attention at first.

2- Tsukasa is a dick. I will say it now, and probably gonna say it again, he could care less about Blade, and is just screwing around and messing with him, it wasnt until Yuusuke thought Tsukasa was being helpful that he actually acknowledged anything except himself... And he still doesnt give a shit about anything except money right now.

The kicker? Tsukasa doesn't improve. He stays just as horrible, but we're supposed to side with him and find him endearing and charming.
It's like they aimed for Tendou and forgot that Tendou still did the right thing without literally being forced to.

Son of a- Great, as I am watching Kabuto, I can stand Tendou because he is kinda funny, but my thing with Decade is, they couldve just had Yuusuke be Decade, or continue as Kuuga, does he even still have his damn belt? He hasnt henshined in like the last 5 episodes!

There's a reason why they call him Yuuseless, he's a good character, definitely one of the best in Decade, but he's not the secondary rider of the show so don't expect him to transform anytime soon.

Which is shame honestly.

Anyways, returning to the Yuusuke thing, he gets a lot of focus on the AgitΩ arc, so it's not like the series has forgotten about him.

Ah. Yea, Im to aggravated at Decade right now, Im gonna swap to Kabuto before I break something.

They forget he can transform until the Den-O arc, though. And then again until the Amazon one.

And it's not like he does much in the Den-O one so yeah... poor Yuusuke.

It's sad, since Yusuke is the only character worth following.

Yeah, he's the best character in the entire show.

In other news I'm currently watching Blade because... why not? I have always wanted to watch it and there's no time like the present I guess.

Kenzaki just busted thorugh a freaking concrete wall, can't argue with that.

It's unfortunate that he became a glorified background character so they could pointlessly shill Diend and how "Cool and mysterious" he is.

Anyway, Blade is awesome. It's a really great series, I do hope you enjoy it.

I agree, out of the little Ive seen at this point, Tsukasa can kiss my ass. Hell, he cant even act like he is laughing when whats-her-name hits him in the throat, I keep thinkin to myself- "Hit him harder!"

The problem with Diend is not the "cool and mysterious" vibe, it's that every single bit of character development he gets is completely erased by the next episode. Plus he's Diend, that's a flaw by itself.
