I have to agree with you. I'm just waiting for subs for the episode now

Baoh - I always wanted to check out this anime since it's from the creator of Jojo Bizarre Adventure. I'm glad that I saw this anime OVA because it's bad ass. The story was pretty decent, but the run time is too short. It's only 45 minutes long and if they made it another 30 minutes then the story could have been much better. There are moments in this ova that didn't made a whole lot of sense. Some parts of this anime made me wish that they could have freshen out the character development more.

However what makes this OVA enjoyable is the action. If you love the over the top violence and gore from other anime titles like The Guyver then you would love Baoh. The action in Baoh is over the top and is a total blast to watch. For a OVA that came out in the early 90's, the animation is pretty good. Some scenes look a bit off, but everything else looked nice for a OVA that is 25 years old.

What makes this anime even more enjoyable is the very cheesy and hammy dubbing. The dubbing in this anime OVA is so bad that it's good. Not to mention our main villain in this anime looks like Walter White from Breaking Bad. This anime made my day and I would consider to be another guilty pleasure of mine. Grade: B

so, Monster Musume's cour ended and i gotta say, I love the adaptation. very faithful and when they weren't being faithful, they improved it.

hope there's a second season.

and we get an actual introduction of Polt.

Lala looks far more unique in the show, that's nice.

So hyped for Owarimonogatari. So hyped.

So hyped I don't even know if I actually want to watch it.

This will be the first time an actual Monogatari show is airing while I'm interested, and I'm not so sure I can handle it? Everything up to Second Season was already over when I was catching up, and both Hana and Tsuki were released as wholes. I don't know if I can play the weekly game with this series. Really considering just letting each story end before watching them in one go.

I think that may be a better experience over all. But it would require waiting. And waiting is bad. Because it's Monogatari. After ten months. More Monogatari. It's gonna be great.

So hyped.


Meanwhile, I'm actually Getting Paces on El Cazador de la Bruja. 21/26 episodes down, and getting good. This must be one of those slow burners, because I have no idea when I actually started enjoying it, but I certainly am now. Somewhere along the line the relationship between the main characters just became really fun to watch. It's pretty good.

I think every character looks good. i am shocked at how much better Centorea is animated. also, I think she has the best voice actress among the girls. also, I was at AWA this year, and during the showing of MonMusu, Centorea's scenes got the most laughs among the crowd.

I haven't seen the mini episodes yet. but I hope I can soon.

also, I really hope we just get an adaptation of chapter 17. it's my favorite and I'm sad they skipped it.

I don't remember what chapter 17 was, so didn't realize anything was skipped heh. I rather enjoyed the season too, although ending on Lala's introduction more or less was a little odd. So a second season would be cool.

I'd like to watch the mini episodes but maybe only a quarter of them have been subbed, so... Gonna wait a little bit, see if more get done.

Chapter 17 was the swimming race and the same chapter that introduced Polt.
And that chapter is the best because Centorea is a bad in this chapter. Wins the swimming race and can do anything she wants with Kurusu. And all she asks is to hold hands on the way home.
Centorea should be an Ore Monogatari character.

Ahhh, that was the one that introduced her? Yeah I kept waiting for that episode, getting slightly annoyed at her very purposeful constant background appearances.

Oh yeah, they all look great, for example in motion it becomes more obvious how large Rachnee or Cerea are, it's just that Lala went from looking like a mostly regular human to a more ghoulish appearance, I enjoy that.

I hadn't realized it was skipped, it's one of the funniest ones too.

They are subbed up to 12, but I'm not sure what's the total amount.

Just watched Akame Ga Kill. Dammit another character I like died! This is starting to piss me off!

I figured that would be the case. I knew people would die. But dammit, why do my favorites have to die first?!

With the title "Kill" in a show, you are going to expect characters to die. I like this week's episode of Akame ga Kill.

I liked it too. Glad to see that Tatsumi got an Empirical Arms. But it ducking sucks that Bulat had to doe in order for him to get it.

The English dub of Parasyte was pretty good. I already seen the whole show subbed during the summer, but I won't mind watching it again in English.

I thought it was interesting. What I find even more interesting was that the Parasyte in the guys hand has no idea what he really is. That kills me. :lol

I'm curious as to what they call Migi in the dub. Rightie?

Arc-V's new opening and ending are nice, calming, and will be total mood-whiplashes when the heavy shit has happened in an episode.

Still love them though.

So I am watching 7 new Anime for the Fall season and I have 2 more that haven't aired yet. I think I might be biting off more than I can chew lol.


Also question I have for anyone who can answer: Does an anime have to be really popular to start getting figures made for it? Because I want stuff of my favorite characters from last season and this season and haven't been able to find anything except for the Gundam stuff but that's Gundam.

Working ym way through the new animes of the season so I checked out the first three on my list.

Comet Lucifer 01

It was honestly kinda meh. The characters seem fun but thats about it for now. The Story didnt really get going and the premise isnt really apparent yet. I liked how the main Mecha (at least thats what I think it was) was animated though. Gotta check out the next episode just to see where they go with it though.

Concrete Revolutio 01

I dug it. I like the premise a lot and the art style is very interesting. Mixing your typical anime characters with very bright and more pop-art backgrounds. The episode itself was kinda lacking though. Didnt completely wow me but got me interested enough to stay around for a few more episodes.

Heavy Object 01

Starts with an overly long exposition dump, switches to some boring characters I couldnt givbe two shits about and dumps a bunch of unnecessary fanservice on the viewer. No thank you.

Apparently there's going to be a new Accel World series. I was initially excited, until I kept reading and saw that it's not going to be a continuation, but an original story... At least it's still by Reki, but it did temper the fire a bit.

Even if it isn't a continuation, that makes me excited. :D

Also, did anybody hear the news about an original Sword Art Online movie?

I check out One Punch Man and it was awesome. I still need to keep up with the newer anime since I never have time to. There anime from 5 or 6 years ago that I still need to watch.

Pretty promising so far. Not a whole lot happened in this episode but I like the setting and characters. I will definitely return for the second episode.

Shingeki!Kyojin Chuugakkou 01

I am so in love with this show. I laughed my ass off the whole way through. One thing I love about the shows style is how everything looks much more cartoony but the AoT Characters still have their normal sized heads :lol

Most stuff won't get figures until it's finished. It may have stuff announced while airing, but more often than not it usually comes out afterward.

Also as far as poseable figures goes unless you're in the market for Nendoroids or the characters you want are female, you're likely to be disappointed.

One Punch Man is based on a manga, right? I think I'll skip that series and just go for the manga if I want to get into it.
