I think it really is a disbelief, not that anyone other than young girls can watch bronies, but that a young girls' cartoon can actually be good. To be fair outside of MLP it is pretty hard to find a decent little girls' show.

I do get flak for watching Power Rangers, but less than I expected. Then again, I also got flak once for liking Batman. That was before the Chris Nolan movies came out and nobody would believe me that Batman was seriously awesome because all they saw were Adam West's and Joel Schumacher's Batmen (while I watched the Animated Series, Justice League and read the comics).

This reminds me of the time when people saw my relatively small toy collection and one guy remarked how he had an uncle who was the same as me and probably had a bit of an identity crisis. :rolleyes

I'm not a big Batman fan anymore because of the rampant fanboying over him these days...

I love the shows he gets. The Animated series and BATB were awesome (And, to a lesser extent, The Batman. The first Burton film and TDK are also great, but the character just makes me roll my eyes these days.
