How are the shoulders doing on your SHODO figures? I'm curious as to how they hold up over long term, even with constant playing around and posing. I'd check myself since I have a few figures, but I won't be home for a little while.

I just checked the shoulders on one of my Shodos. One is a bit loose at a certain angle, but otherwise fine. I don't see any problems other than some standard ball joint wear.

I love that this style of shoulder pads is show-accurate, but the way they've done it kind of makes me worry since I haven't been able to check in on my figures in a super long time. |
I've been thinking for the past few weeks or so... I know we're going on about what SO-DO CHRONICLE line could be next, and there's certainly some of those that could be interesting (Fourze and Ghost in particular), but I find myself realising I wouldn't be as interested in a new SO-DO CHRONICLE line as I would YU-DO CHRONICLE.
Sentai infamously just does not get figures anymore outside the candy toy lines, and certainly not for anything past the current series. And with the way YU-DO lines are set up, with the exception of Kyuranger and Kyoryuger any past team including their sixths would fit in an entire wave on their own. That would exclude super forms, but I think most would be willing to accept that or there'd be a niche enough audience for PB waves of super forms. Anyone else kinda feeling this way? It also seems flexible enough to allow extra heroes like Princess Shinken Red, and then other extra heroes that would require two boxes are on teams like Gingaman which would allow for that. The only one aside from Kyuranger and Kyoryuger that seems problematic is Dekaranger due to having 8 rangers which wouldn't allow for an accessory box. |
