Wait, I think I know what the Power-Up Vistamps are based upon: Extinction Causers. Barid Rex is based upon the Ice Age, while the new Volcano Vistamp is based upon, well, Volcanoes. Volcanoes can cause Ice Ages, but also the Meteor which killed off the Dinosaurs also caused global temperature Drops, just like how the egg fell on Ikki during his first Transformation into Barid Rex.

So I think that Revice's Power Up Forms might be based upon Extinction Events just like how the Animals the Vistamps are based upon have extinct versions.

I think that the final Vistamp might be based upon Humans, because we are causing species to go extinct because of either the introduction of invasive species, purposeful hunting of them, climate change, destruction of their habitats for farming or for infrastructure, and/or even just by accident because of regular pollution. Humans really are an extinction event by ourselves. From driving Dodos to extinction because of Rats, to killing off Dire Wolves because they were killing our farm animals, to killing off the Tasmanian "Tiger", which wasn't even a tiger, more just a marsupial, to the Rhino Species which we drove to extinction because of poachers.

Sorry for sounding like I am talking out of my rear end, but Humanity being the Final Form Vistamp would be kind of poetic. All from me realizing that Barid Rex was based upon the Ice Age and the Ice Age and Volcanoes both causing mass extinctions.

It's pretty refreshing that really, there is no Rider in the new year that we're aware of.

It's just the Revice power up which is pretty nice.

I don't think Revice will have a powerup form that is human-themed, and this is gonna sound dumb, but it's because there's already a T-rex theme. Humans are living creatures, and T-rexes were once alive, so in terms of theme, they're in the same category. Going by what we've seen, the dual theme of a given Vistamp, aside from the demon theme that comes from the fact that it's a Vistamp, are Rider+Animal or Main Rider's Animal + Extinction Event.

Also, as much as I hate bringing this up, Vice's look in the scans, although almost certainly not intentional, is... not great, considering the past controversial deeds of his voice actor.

Well that came out of nowhere. And why Grease of all Riders? I mean, he's a great guy but a form not based on a primary Rider surprised me.

This may be pure speculation at this point but I like this idea. Reminds me of Kyoryugers and their monsters which were themed around extinction events.

It is pretty new that there's no new Rider belt around Christmas given that's been a staple since... well, since W! It's not even like Volcano Rex takes up that 'slot' either since we've had those debuts around the same time before, like Shining Assault at Christmas and then Thouser the very next episode. Unless the toy leaks for Q2 are wrong then this is a bit of a first for Kamen Rider's usual formula, and I have to wonder if it has anything to do with Sentai introducing the new Red earlier at New Years itself.
