Yeah Mutsuki looks like nice character. But what do you mean he isn't going anywhere? A) He is the main focus of the next set of epsiodes (which is fine by me) or B) His character isn't going to develop any time soon? (which would suck) |
I have no idea why Tapir's power is Remote. Just roll with it :p
And I say that because Mutsuki, After becoming Leangle, spends about 90% of his appearances afterwards under the control of the Spider Undead, making his development sporadic because the Spider Undead is about as dull a villain as you can get. I'm not saying he's a bad character, but his entire story arc drags something fierce, IMO (Not getting into how or why, since that'd be spoiling a good chunk of what occurs concerning him). |

That sounds annoying but bearable, and given that in 18 he became a jerk. It seems I'm already starting to see the signs of it. Anyways Blade 18: -Psycho electric guy was indeed the original candidate for Garren, and he goes around with a prostetic arm, Riderman? -Ans as soon as Garren is leading a happy life, soemone rains on his parade, Tachibana can't catch a break, can he? -Also who leaves Leangle's Belt on a table without protection or supervision! The thing has already proved to have psychic abilites and now it learned to move on it's own. -I hate Leangle's Belt / Spider Undead, screw that guy. poor Mutsuki -Leangle released all those undeads just so they could fight em again? it was a nice scene and everything, but it felt like toei was running out of undead suits. -Psycho Electric Guy is Leangle now, my two less favorite guys as one, I guess it's easier to hate them as one that when they where two. As for the preview Fuck Yeah Tachibana-san! And I don't think that i've said it before but it really needs to be said, Amane is the cutest thing ever :) Anyways enough Blade for today 6 episodes a day is a good number, despite some of my complaints I'm seriously loving this series. Out of the original 10 heisei riders which other series reaches this level of awesomeness? |
This thread is starting to look like a redacted CIA document. :lol

Kabuto 11. This was a funny episode.
I think I'll like Daisuke and Gon. They have quirky personalities that I tend to like. That scene where Tendou was walking and Misaki hailed him was all serious then she stands up and the thing she was sitting on started making this funny sounds. Then Tendou and Daisuke's first interaction was funny as well. Then you get Tendou misquoting a saying then the group date. Yeah this episode was funny. |
Agito 19
I really liked the Unknown with a bowl on his head trying to be a Scary Jellyfish Monster and not really getting there. BOO! Other than that, this episode draaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggeedddd. The G3 team is upbraided for not talking to the Unknowns more (even after it's pointed out they never talked before) and then the guy who gave them shit turns out to be dirty and is undone by . . .sandwiches. Also: There was a fight. I think Agito won. |
I'm on Den-O '26.5', with the animated bit with Shinnosuke. I don't even know where to begin... It's just... That's one obnoxious kid.

Kamen Rider Black 15, in which he essentially fought a human sized Gamera.
I have no problems with this. |
The return of everybody's favorite CIA documents is here :p
Blade 19: -EPG can totally control Leangle. Neat. -Hajime... T_T -Mutsuki will never learn will he? I feel sorry for the guy effing Spider Undead. -Ah Tachibana-san will you ever learn to be a team player? -Guns > Staves -And EPG bites the dust, meh... I feel sorry for Tachibana, but for EPG? nope. |
I just started watching Kamen Rider Black. It is AWESOME.
|
I really don't get the point of the spoiler tags, at least how they are used in this forum. If you're talking about the show you're watching in here for example, it would have to have aired, most of the time it's been aired for years, so sure it's nice to black it out for those who haven't seen it but it often feels like you're pressured into doing so, like you're withholding a secret that in reality was already shown to the world years before. I mean like Blade is over ten years old, why hide like the entire post with spoiler tags?
The worst though is the of the week episode discussions, where mods edit your posts and replace details revealed in that episode with spoiler tags, what is the point of an episode discussion if you're gonna treat everything as spoilers? And who is in the thread, reading all the posts before watching the episode, then complaining about spoilers? What an idiot. And I know it doesn't matter, but it's just the principle and attitude, I would never intentionally spoil something for anyone, I hate it when it's done to me, but I don't expect posts to be edited when they're talking about exactly what the thread is about. |
Blade 20:
-Amane is still the cutest thing ever, if I ever have a daughter half as cute as her... I'm not letting her getting anywhere Hajime :lol effing undeads. -Kotaro is getting some spotligh, nice. -Leangle's bike looks dumb... -Hajime helped Kenzaki! |

Like one person could be in the middle of Ryuki while someone else could just be starting it. It's not entirely necessary, but with many KR series seemingly obligated to have some sort of midseason twist, it's more of a courtesy for spoilers in the "What Are You Watching" threads, but not a necessity. I do agree with you on the Weekly discussion threads, though. |
Quote:
It's a courtesy, that I'm very thankful of, I've been spoiled details of Blade and other show before even if it wasn't intentional. And even if it's old there are still people out there that haven't watched it. As for the spoiler tags in the episode discussion it is pointless, I've done it before, but honestly if you haven't watched the epsiode why are you on the freaking thread!? If you opened it you should have already watched it. |
So now that I have more free time, and due to the amount of travelling/waiting in airports over the past few days, I've managed to start watching Blade again.
Still really good and getting better now I'm hitting the thirties. There's a big question that I need answered at the moment, but I'm gonna watch a few more episodes first and see if it gets answered =p |

Blade 21: Tachibana-"sensei" (so to speak) that's an interesting role for him, specially considering Fourze :lol Kotaro's arc continues, it's been fun I like the guy, plus it continues to show Kenzaki's kindness. Also for some reason I'm getting really impatient to see the Jack forms. Blade 22: Chalice journey continues as Kurihara's former assistant learns about his role in his death. A promise made long time ago also resurfaces. Mutsuki is actually doing very well right now and Tachibana continues to be the unluckiest guy around :lol Other than that Riders really love to break cave walls in this show, I have no effing clue where Leangle's bike came from and this episode lesson: "Find the substitute for your salary" :lol 23 and 24: So Chalice is actually sealed on the card!? it sounds obvious in foresight but damn. The writers continue to hurt Tachibana, the guy just showed his crazy reflex a few episodes back and a slow attack hits him, I swear one of these days when Blade receives an attack they are gonna cut to a shot of Garren being hit for no reason at all. Oh and apparently the whole Undead thing isn't meant to be a TCG, I'm dissapointed :p Boomerang card! Triple Henshin! oh and there are Undead Hunters now, not like that lasted much. And the Black Fang looks like the devil's ride it was obviously going to get stolen by a villain. |
The first half of today's episodes of Blade:
25: We see more of Kotaro and Hajime relationship, considering that both of them are tied to the same family they defintely should interact more often. Good episode on the Kotaro side he really shined, the other part of the story felt kinda pointless. 26: We meet Shima, cool guy. Leangle is back under Spider control. We learn that Hajime is him... worst reveal ever. And Jack form! Liked it, Tachibana and Kenzaki are a true team now, and Shima is a nice addition to the cast. 27: Mutsuki is still facing the same problem, Tachibana continues to be this show punching bag, Hajime is Joker freaking spoilers..., and Shima took a decision concerning the Spider. |
Shima is a really great character. Really memorable despite not being a rider.
And Chalice's driver is different from the others, both in function and ability. I'm not sure if they've explained how, so I'm not saying any further. |
Den-O 33 & 34: I am greatly amused by Kohana abusing Momotaros for some reason. :D
|
Quote:
As for his Driver so far the only things they've explained is that he uses Spirit to appear human (weird since the Undead have no issues with it) and he can transform into Float. Blade 28: Shima's skills are rather convenient, aren't they? Anyways it was a nice episode but most of the important plot details I already explained above. Blade 29: A filler episode in Blade? :eyebrow I was ready to complain but it was actually pretty fun :lol Hajime changed places with some random guy, Ryou was pretty fun and anything that makes Kotaro drop his milk is impressive by itself, plus his milk defies laws of physics :lolol http://i.imgur.com/agNsj4D.png?1 It floated like that for quite a while, I hate milk but this show is tempting me to drink some. :lol |
Ah. Yeah, that's what makes Chalice's driver special. Scanning a card while in Spirit form lets him transform into that Undead. It's pretty cool.
I forgot about Kotaro's obsession with milk :lol I love milk. |
Fitting for the Joker.
Kotaro is already awesome and his love for milk makes him even more awesome. :lol 30: So I don't know if Kenzaki and co are trolling or they are simply stupid, anyways Hajime has mad cooking skills. And Garren gets his Rouze Absorber, nothing bad happened to Tachibana this time, I actually expected his package to be retained by customs or something. :lol Anyways forgot to talk about the movie tie-in that's airing at the end of each episode... it's rather weird that's all that needs to be said. |

Hey Locke, did you ever finish Den-O? |
Nope, not watched any Kamen Rider in FOREVER. I work like thirty - forty hours a week now, add onto that my average round travel of like twenty more hours a week on top of that and you can see how little time I have on my hands. Once I finish OO I might go back to my Rider shows, but right now I'm watching like one episode of something every three days.

I thought i'd check this franchise out so i watched the first episode of OOO... This show is so freaking stupid... I'm gonna watch more of it! :D

OOO is fun for the whole family!

And now that I actually have the Hana SHF, I really need to trck down Momotaros SHF... |

I only realised at episode 32 that it shows a different card at the end of each episode as well, I always switch the video off at the card swipe/belty trail bit... Hmm guess I'm gonna have to see how many eps I have still stored on my laptop. |
Quote:
And man, 31 felt really different, in a good way. :) Quote:
I didn't realize the card thing at first either, then again it only shows which card they acquire in that episode, interesting but not vital to the series. ------------------- Blade 31: New op! it really gets you pumped. Kenzaki finally gets the spotlight as he faces King, Garren learns more about Chalice's nature, and Leangle is now a professional poker player or something, the guy seriously likes cards. Oh and Tachibana gets roughed up a little bit, because it's his fate. :P |
