The Zenkaiger Yu-Do are split across 9 boxes. 2 for each Kikanoid robot form.

I would love a Yu-Do chronicle, but Bandai may just be focusing on SHODO with how well those sets sold. I think SHODO is a better fit for Sentai too, with the soft plastics and prepainted parts.

Yeah, but that's because Juran, Gaon and Vroon are a VERY big exception to how Sentai rangers usually go in terms of how much volume they have to cover. Every other Sentai ranger covered by YU-DO so far have been done in one box, which even extends to Magine in this line (pretty impressive given her wings).

You'd need a couple of boxes for some characters for sure -- Gingaman's Black Knight comes to mind, as does Boukenger's Zubaan and perhaps Carranger's Signalman. But the vast vast majority of cases would be as simple as YU-DO's usual fare -- one box each, with an extra accessory box for all their weapons.

I only have Shocker Rider, so unfortunately there's no shoulder pad joint to check, sorry.

For the Shodo with shoulder pads, it depends on the design and what you want to do with them. They're made of soft PVC and push out of the way as needed. The more open the shoulder pad, the better. The early shoulder pads are pretty limiting, but the designs have improved greatly over the years. In recent years, the collar that the pads are attached to are not glued down as much making it easier to get out of the way and reset. As long as you're not wanting to put their arms above their head, you can get a good range out of most of them without problem. Leaving them in a pose that bends the pads for a long time may cause them to never fully reset, but most poses don't need to bend them enough that it's that noticeable.

Candy toys are a nightmare to import to the US due to all the restrictions and regulations. For example, if the item has any form of consumable in it at all (ie: the little piece of candy/gum in candy toys) it must be transported via refrigerated storage at the freight level.

Yeah, for just a few extra dollars per figure, I'd totally buy these.

Thinking of getting the P-Bandai Trychaser 2000 and Gouram set to complete the Kuuga collection before I finally watch the last 10 or so episodes. Don't want to spend too much, but also would rather not deal with Japanese shipping costs for just one item, so does anyone know approximate how big the box size Mandarake would use for just that item, so I can try and see if I can fit anything else in without bumping to the next box size tier?

it was only 1500 yen.
Now I'm just hoping the extra boxes include some spare action bodies (they probably won't)
