The Power Of The Daleks was in color which was cool.

I forgot to mention this until now, but a couple of days ago I read through the latter half of the original Devilman manga. It was a very interesting read, ranging from feeling like something an edgy teenager would write to incredibly good. The art too tended to range from garbage to drop dead gorgeous. I... really enjoyed it! The entire finale stretch of the story is something I'm not going to forget any time soon, it was such a horrific, haunting turn of events. Definitely give it a shot if you can tolerate strong violence, some dated aspects, and Go Nagai being horny as hell.

I had finished Head Masters - Victory on DVD several
months ago and am catching up the first 98 episodes.

Man, Sandland is winning. Took more than 20 years, but now? A movie, merchandise, a freakin' videogame? That's awesome, love to see it. Finally some recognition for a work that is much more than just "something the Dragonball guy made".

The only way they could make this even more perfect is if the game showed up for the next console generation. Although a special future port to cash in on the joke could work.

Plus, the Dragon Quest XIII prediction might still come true!

This looks promising. I grew up with the games as a kid and would always play them at my friends house.

I understand that there's a good reason for it, but man all of reddit going dark is removing my usual source of wasting time on the internet.

I like Toriyama's style outside of Dragon Ball so all this Sandland stuff is really exciting to me. I've been wanting to read the manga for years but haven't gotten around to it - maybe now is the time?

It sure is! The whole thing is just one book too, so you have to make no real investment into a longer running series. Just buy it once and you have it all.

Honestly the Sand Land game looks pretty neat, I'm hoping it turns out well even if I'm so busy with my backlog, been meaning to finally play RE4 2005 for the first time a few months back but nope I've been playing gay games or Miles Morales lately lmao

You know what Toriyama needs to do next? Collabo with Amemiya, Shirakura, or Higuchi and make a tokusatsu adaptation of Cashman.

Humble Bundle has a Pixel Pride thing which has about 7 steam games for less than 12 euros though out of those I only played Celeste and Get In The Car Loser, but so far the latter's very charming while the former is an indie darling. Itch has a buncha queer shit, both free and paid alongside a massive bundle that can go up to 60 euros for like 500 things, though fair warning, itch has much more leeway on 18+ stuff so you may find a bunch of things you would want to avoid. Speaking of itch though, I did a short VN called Yuki's Palpitating, Passionate, Phenomenal and quite frankly Proficient quest for a (hot) girlfriend!!! Alongside it's sequel, they're cute fluffy games that should take like an hour total while being completely free. Finally, I want to recommend A Year Of Springs, it's a but longer but it's about a couple queer women figuring themselves out and the struggles of being transgender in Japan. I think it's 5 euros on the Switch but 3 euros on Steam

Oh the bundle looks fun, I wanted to play Celeste for a long while now and there are two other games that immediately catch my interest, the Boyfriend Dungeon and Lesbian Animal RPG, I think I will get that.

I got a SNES and Sega Saturn recently. I've been playing those games in the meantime while I save up to buy SF6 on the PS5. I do still play KOF15 because they still update the game.
