As of today, I finally started watching Kamen Rider Blade.

He's aight to me, that's about it.

I think this actually adds to the unsettling mysteriousness of Great Leader, the way he can assume an unknown number of vastly different forms, possibly at the same time.

Due to Stronger being only the second Showa season I watched after Amazon, these crossover episodes were a pretty big deal for me at the time, as my first time seeing Rider 1, 2, V3, Riderman and X out of suit.

While I mostly liked how General Shadow was a cunning villain, I was a little disappointed when he basically just gave up on his schemes after the rest of Delza Army turned against him.

Shame this final arc didn't completely land for you, but I'm glad you were able to enjoy it for what it was.

I love the aesthetic of Revice as well! The show on the other hand, uh.... Well I'll tell you the same thing I told Die: Good luck.

I mean, I get that aspect, given that he's the Big Bad of almost all of Showa and all, but like, if he's both Black Satan and Delza, why would he lead a coup against himself? Just makes no sense...

It is in character. In the original series, after all of Shocker?s executives were killed, he moved into business with Geldam and had the remaining Shocker members hunted down and killed.

You absolutely can't fault him for an unwillingness to diversify.

Ah, yes. One of several memes that made Blade pretty famous among the fandom especially considering good old Tachibana-san (who may or may not have apparently betrayed BOARD). ;)
