My best job that I had was when I worked at a movie theater because I got to see movies for free, and we had a cool break room that people chill out during break time. It was also fun to interact with people at my job too.

Well, as long as you don't flub it up that is. I remember hearing on the news of an incident where a few employees accidentally loaded up horror movie trailers before a G-rated kid's movie. The theatre got a lot of complaints about parents seeing "men being lit on fire" among other things and generally having their kids traumatised.

BTW do you get free popcorn?

My hockey team is down 3-1 games in the conference finals to a group of cheating scumbuckets.

It's finally getting warmer here where I live as Australia enters spring. I think it's because I grew up in the tropics as a kid, but I'm generally a happier person when it's warmer. Of course, hay fever's gonna be an issue but there's always medication.

I've noticed you've referenced being on a hockey time a few times, and out of curiosity are you in a professional hockey team or a local hockey team?

Neither (I wish I was though). I’m an extremely disgruntled, soon-to-be-EX-hockey fan. And by “My hockey team”, I mean “The team I’m about to quit cheering for”.

I just finished an assignment and handed it in literally a minute before the deadline. Let me tell you, it's surprisingly hard to finish an assignment when a FREAKING CATCHY CHRISTMAS SONG IS PLAYING INSIDE YOUR HEAD.

I can't deal with Christmas before Halloween...

It's a Filipino thing. We generally start celebrating Christmas once September starts (during the "ber" months). They're already playing "Christmas In Our Hearts" in the Philippines.

I really want to go back to Philippines for Christmas but I don't think I'll be able to because of lockdown. Bummer.

People who work at the theater had to pay for their own, but we got a 3% discount. Movie theaters make their money from food, drinks, gift cards, and stubs points (I used to work at AMC from March 2010-June 2012). 95% of the ticket sales goes back to the studios. Someone did play a Scream 4 trailer in front of Yogi Bear for laughs, but our boss was not happy about it. He was demoted from working at the Film Projector to working at the concession stand.
