I just got ripped off ob the gts, got a Piplup when i requested a Pochama!

GTS is being awfully stingy with the Misdreavus.
The only Pokemon I haven't been able to get in 10 minutes...Hell, I've been waiting all day for one.

Should anyone get a hold of one, could you give me a heads up?

Pochama is the Japanese name for Piplup. He's saying he got an English Piplup and not a Japanese one.

It's one of the few japanese Pokemon names i know of.

But once the Japanese one evolves, it'll be a Prinlup instead of a ポッチャマ.

Anyway, Empoleon is one of the better starters, so it's pretty solid if you do decide to make use of it.

for Empoleon, I say go with special attacks since it's highest base stats are special attack and special defense.

Also I'm ready to give you the Misdreavus on two small conditions that you may not have any problems with.
1. breed me a Misdreavus please
2. can I get a Mudkip in the trade? :D

Should I breed a Pawniard to know Psycho Cut and train it to have Swords Dance, Night Slash?

Don't run Drill Peck and EQ. Empoleon is Special Attack based.

And for Empoleon, it depends on how you want it to work.
If you want to go offensive, then Hydro Pump, Flash Cannon, and Ice Beam would be the way to go (4th move could be whatever you want. You can apparently breed Agility into it, so that's an option *Shrugs*)

Bleh. The Vivillon hunt has yielded me a spare Monsoon pattern I can hopefully use to procure another rare one, but none of the 5 left I actually need. Have to find some more places to ask than just two forums and endless GTS trading. (Thank goodness I have access to a Friend Safari with them since these endless Elegant are still impossible to pawn off.)

Huh. Now I have a spare Sun pattern (yay rare ones) for a Florges... which means I have to go try and get another Shiny Stone to replace my red Florges. Heh that's still gonna be easier.

And I just missed out on two Ocean patterns because my Aromatisse and Slurpuff are male and they were asking for females. Damnit. >_<

just got Treecko, Tepig, and Oshawott off of GTS. Just missing two more starters. a Squirtle and Snivy. For Squirtle I can just got to a friend safari, catch a Wartortle and breed it. but after all that I will have all the starters... ever.

So many Pokemon, so few people to use them against :p

I want to use Serperior, but I want one with Contrary, so I might just train up this Misdreavus instead...

So do any of the the other starters have Mega forms or is just the lucky four?

From what we know, the only unreleased Mega forms are for the Lati twins, so it's just the 4.

Hey Matrix, remember when you wanted to train a Cacturne but the stats sucked so much you didn't?
I honestly think you and your bloodlust could make a team of weak Pokemon into something that can hold it's own and mercilously win battles.

that would only make our defeats more embrassing

I'd build the team only if I can guarantee someone would actually battle it :lol
And not Multi battle, where 2 people could aim at it and take them out like bitches. 1 on 1, gladiator style :p
