Yeah Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is all kinds of awesome. I got the whole boxset as a birthday gift from a friend like 3 years ago, I'll probably rewatch it soon, I have a lot of free time coming up.
@Topic: I watched One Punch Man today, it was tons of fun. Really great looking, really sweet action and some great comedy with all the parodies of popular anime. Now I know why it was such a big topic in late 2015! I'm "Always late to the party"-Man... :lol |
so watch bit of german dub of fusion due to i heard bad thing bout it well thoes complaining bout i did not hear all thoes bad thing in the episod ei mainly watched to see what the opening was for the first time digimon in german did not dub the Japanese xros wars opening what i was disappointed with.

Eh, never read the manga and honestly I don’t care. I watched the anime for fun and that's it. Maybe I watch the OVA's, but I have no urge to read the source material.

I personally really enjoy One Punch Man, but I still need to finish it (4 more episodes to go. Just been really busy). It has everything that I want in an anime. Action, comedy, guts and awesome characters. Takes stuff that I love in western comic books, toku and shonen anime. Glad that a second season is possible.

Watched the first four episodes of Erased and I am hooked. This show has everything I enjoy in a show. Its a crime story, a period piece and has time travel in it. It can get pretty depressing though :lol
|
That Liveman reference though.
|
I saw the first episode of Erased at my friends house and it was good. It's on my watch list. I do want check Ajin soon since I really dig the manga. However there is a movie and TV series. The trailer for the movie had some really bad looking CG. CG that would belong in Final Fantasy X, not something in this decade.

so was i found out naruto anime still in filler but the sad thing is naruto ultimate ninja storm game finshed the manga story before anime has.
|
Some pretty horrendous filler too. In three weeks it'll end... And we'll start the supposedly canon Itachi content. So still not finishing the actual damn story...

I finish watching Noblesse: Awakening which is a short anime vampire film that has been trending on the internet. It's animated by Production I.G, same studio behind Ghost in the Shell, Blood+, Psycho-Pass and Attack on Titan. It was very nicely animated and the fight scenes did kick ass. The story was pretty good, but I could not help to compare the anime to Blood+ since the animation tone very similar to Blood+ and you do have a evil organization behind these vampire monsters. Overall, I like it a lot and I hope it will become a series. Not as great as Hellsing, but way better than Kimera and Diabolik Lovers. Grade: B

Just watched the new Erased. What even is plot anymore. Only more mysteries. Only more weirdness. Good though.
The fact that the central object in Airi's backstory is a candy bar is kind of stupid though. Enough so that it really bugs me, actually. Stupid thing to get caught up on, but...it's stupid. Anyway, gotta ask, am I the only one weirded out by the fact that Satoru barely seems to care about the fact that one of the victims of the case from 18 years ago was one of his friends? Like, he brings it up once but doesn't seem to care at all afterwards. I get that his focus was on saving Hinazuki and he figured everything would be fine after that, but like..it's still odd. He didn't even get brought up at all in this episode with the changed series of events. The fact that they made a named character with a relation with the main character one of the victims but haven't actually done anything with it makes me kind of suspicious. I guess for that reason alone I'm expecting him to be plot critical in some way. No idea how, though. Though then to be fair I have little idea what's really going on so far in general, which is sort of the point. Still a really exciting series, anyway. Can't wait for the next episode. |
Wrapped up 7 Deadly Sins earlier this week and am moving on to One Punch Man.
|
So new precure start yesterday wonder who going to sub it.
|
And now I've finished One Punch Man, the special, and the two OVAs out. Eh? It had its moments, but it didn't blow me away. Was fun for the most part though.

It was just a 12 episode anime so it ended back in December. A second season is probably coming out at some point but as of now it's done, OVAs aside.
I find the manga pretty brilliant but I am less fond of the anime, personally. |

Really, the amount of posts I was seeing along the lines of "So now that you've watched the god-sent One Punch Man and want to check out more anime..." was surprising. Meh, maybe I'll get to catching up on the manga at some point though. For now, need to decide what anime to watch next. Parasyte or Berserk are my top considerations.
|
Parasyte is brilliant. Highly recommended.
|
Parasyte is awesome. The dub is okay, but you can watch it sub on CR if you don't have the time to watch it on weekend nights on Toonami on Adult Swim. Speaking of Toonami, Akame Ga Kill just finish airing. I still have a few episodes to go to finish it. I do look forward to Dimension W since it looks like a cool show.
As for Berserk, I would recommended the movies since they are more darker and violent compare to the TV series in my opinion. |
Didn't even realize it was airing on Toonami. It's had so much on there I was interested in that I stopped paying attention to their lineup. :/
So I checked and it's so far along that there's kind of no point in even trying to jump in now. It's basically done. And I actually would like to watch another dub too just because it's easier heh. Oh well. |
I watch the first episode of both 3x3 Eyes and Seven Deadly Sins at my friends house earlier today. Both titles are very good and cool. Seven Deadly Sins felt like Akame Ga Kill meets Fairy Tail. I do plan to watch more of it. 3x3 Eyes is another anime added to my watch pile. It was a very cool anime with action and demons. It did remind me a bit of Ajin: Demi-Human with the whole idea of being immortal.
|
I watched some 3x3 Eyes episodes years ago. I loved it.
|
I watched episode one of Mawaru Penguindrum a bit earlier. I don't even know what the fuck even anymore. Goddamn friggin Ikuhara Kunihiko.

Honestly I liked it, but it confused the fuck out of me too. Then again, in context the show is to Japan what "My Name is Khan" would be to America, only if it were directed by David Lynch and had a plot encompassing reference to Beatrix Potter's "The Tale of Jeremy Fisher." I liked it but holy crap was it weird. And it's second theme song "Boys Come Back To Me" popped up in a dream I had where Right from ToQger shopped for produce while singing it. |
I mean I saw Yuri Kuma Arashi so I thought I'd be pretty acclimated to the weirdness. That didn't get to me that much (in fact, it was downright sensible in comparison to yurikuma. that shit confused me for about half the series). It's just the hints of incest are already a little uncomfortable.
Liked the episode, just, you know, ew. |
It gets even more fucked up once Ringo Oginome shows up.
Also, from much later in the series, two words: Child. Broiler. |
Ok, so in episode 2 the Apple is properly introduced. The Apple is a stalker.
I mean, it's still better than incest. Maybe the Apple'll really go bananas later. |

https://media.giphy.com/media/vhZt4D6KdVRwA/giphy.gif Oh, you are in for a TREAT! :lol Also for as incestuous as that first episode makes you think the show will be... It really isn't as the show goes on. Not to say it isn't still incredibly fucked up and all the character are in dire need of psychiatric help, but it's certainly not an Oreimo/NGNL 'cest-fest. Because as I said: Child. Broiler. |
