Sculpting wise, the Figma looks way better IMO.

Well, that certainly does make the comparison a lot clearer. Its good that there looks like there will at least be some variation between them then.
Don't get me wrong, the Figuart is really nice but the face really doesn't sit with me right. It's giving off a creepy "this is a person in an anime mask" vibe. Its just not for me I guess. |

Why the sudden interest in doing Cardcaptor Sakura all of a sudden? If one company was doing her, then I'd just assume they were doing it for the heck of it. But here are two companies doing the same character in the same outfit.
S.H. Figuarts doing her would just go along for me as part of the "Magical Girl" thing they're doing with Pretty Cure and Sailor Moon, but Figma doing it just seems like it's coming out of nowhere when they've been focused on Attack on Titan and The Avengers as of late. Now if Figma starts doing Super Sentai or Nintendo stuff like crazy, I'm guessing we're seeing a full-on war between S.H. Figuarts and Figma. |

I'll be getting the figuarts version given:
1. She'll be consistent with my Sailor Moon,DBZ and Pretty Cure figures. 2. Bandai's more likely to have her out on time. :lol |

Like Kiryu said, Figma have done TONS of magical girls. They released the Madoka cast TWICE, and there's been a fair amount of Nanoha figures too. I don't know why both companies have chosen now to release their Sakuras, but it other than the timing it isn't really that much of a left field release for them. I wouldn't really say Attack on Titan and the Avengers have received considerably special focus either, they just happen to be the ones Western buyers have latched onto. There's been plenty of different releases around and in-between them. And as far as Nintendo stuff goes, they haven't quite gone 'crazy' but right now Max Factory are spread across way more Nintendo properties than Bandai. Figuarts has Mario and Pokemon, while Figma's done Zelda, Metroid, Kid Icarus, Fire Emblem... Quote:
