I have all the Ryuki figuarts sans the survive modes and for me, the best ones are Knight, Odin, and Ryuga (black Dragon just looks cooler).

I have every Ryuki release thus far and am down for anything coming up in the future. I have nothing but praise for the entire line if Ryuki SHF's. They're all simply perfect.

Kamen Rider Blade is well made. Very stable regarding posing compared to the other ones I got.

Gokai Silver and Red Hawk are on their way. XD

Two more Gokaigers to go once Silver arrives. Then I have to decide if I want to get Black Condor, Go-Buster Blue or Go-Buster Yellow since nothing new I'm interested in comes out until December.

I've got Ryuki, Knight, Zolda, Ouja, Raia and Abyss. Aside from Knight Survive and maybe Odin I'm good with what I have unless they make Ouja Blank Form. It is a great Figuarts body though and every release has something unique to it that makes it worth owning.

Anyway, I got some of those stand decals and I have to say, I am a bit disappointed. I put Birth's on and there was no way to get it on without getting finger prints all over it. Plus, it is all bubbly and crap. :-(

It's pretty difficult to get apply them perfectly. My OOO TaMaShii one went on pretty smooth, but I used Vangelus's video as a guide. There are some imperfections, but unless you're really looking for them, they're hard to notice.

I need to try applying mine again. I tried once, long ago, using windex to let me position the sticker where I wanted it, and that was working great, but I didn't have a good squeegee, so it still came out pretty crap.

The Water Arrow is a really cool accessory as well! Although I had a little trouble trying to get him to hold it the way I wanted to. May take some fiddelling but I do like how he looks with the it held faced down.

I can't wait to get my hands on the Shinken Green and Pink to complete the team!

Cool pictures are really cool guys, but please try to keep them contained to the approriate threads. The SHF thread is meant for discussion of the line, pics of new incoming stuff, maybe like a mini review of something new. But cool pictures need to go in the cool stuff threads. Also please try not to double post them in multiple threads.

Just a questions from a lurker turned member who recently got into Figuarts. Started on Gaim and am finishing up Blade right now (which I absolutely love,) and am going to be going figuarts crazy for the next month or so. For the figuart for kamen rider no. 1, which one is the redesigned version, or what are the differences? I know nothing about this line, so any help is appreciate.

I'm seeing:

Kamen Rider New No. 1
Masked Rider New No. 1
Kamen Rider New No. 1 Sakurajime Version
Kamen Rider New No. 2

Are No. 1 and No. 2 different characters?

Yes. Kamen Rider 2(Nigo) a sort of lackey to Kamen Rider 1(Ichigo). Their designs are almost the same besides their gloves/boots and the lines down their arms and legs.

Ok so No. 2's redesign is coming through a TWE soon, and No. 1 already has a redesign, right?

Edit: Oh, and since I'm going to be buying a bunch, are there any to absolutely avoid? I know about the ones that are getting renewals soon, but are there any KR figuarts that are just total crap?

Avoid the Kamen Rider Ryuki figures and Kamen Rider Fourze figures if you don't like "little pieces" to them. Between the cards and the silver plugs on the Ryuki figures that can be lost if you sneeze, and Fourze's switches falling off his belts if you cross your eyes, it could be a nightmare to keep them "complete" once you open them.

But the Ryuki figures are amazing, amazing figures. The Fourze figures are okay, I own them more because I loved the series so much.

There aren't really any Rider Figuarts the can be call total crap anyway. The OOO figuarts are definitely the worst quality figures in the line and even then they're still perfectly fine in their own way.

I really like the way the Ryuki figures look, and I think I like Gai the best...:cry

Ryuki will probably be the next series I watch. Finished Blade last night and started on Wizard today.

It really is hard for a Figuart to be complete crap anyway. Even the Gobuster FIguarts aren't terrible.

That's one of the reasons that I'm switching to figuarts from Transformers. I got tired of toys not being accurate to the source material/having lackluster articulation. Figuarts figures just seems to have so much personality and character; a lot of it comes off in pictures with the poses they are able to achieve.

My wife says Kamen Rider is a stupid, kids show. I told her that she's the one who married me, so too bad :D My 1.5 year old does love watching the show with me, though.

I think you're exaggerating a little bit on the Ryuki figure. The only one that really has fall-out-if-you-look-at-them plugs is Ryuki. Every single one after that has been a lot tighter, in my experience.

The cards though, yeah, leave them in their little bag or they are vacuum-bait.

Fourze, holy crap, I am AMAZED and ASTOUNDED that I have not lost one of those switches yet. Just having thought about my Fourze figure means one of the switches has fallen out, and I'm 4 rooms away from it! I'm honestly very tempted to glue them in, cuz I'm not going to switch the switches when I swap out the modules. Unless I do a gallery for them here. :/

you cannot go wrong with a Ryuki figure. They are all perfectly executed. If Gai is your favorite design though, I pity you. He's impossible to find for under $100 and he just isn't worth anything near that.

I'll pick up a bunch of the others off amazon since they are cheaper right now and save Gai for later...and genocider...and Ryuga. Ugh. I can already tell this hobby will be more expensive than third party transformers.

oh yes, you will soon learn. another problem is you buy all the mass release ones then realise you need the web exclusives to complete the team/show, so you spend hours trawling the net to find the cheapest. you buy it, ship it and display it... THEN you realise your house isnt as stable as you think and you need some tamashii stages to pose them, so back to the web you go... Before you know it you miss the days of walking into a shop and picking up a generations or prime toy. its totally worth it though. totally

Unlike Gai, Genocider and Ryuga ARE worth their aftermarket prices.

Venosnaker and EvilDiver are great, there are no flaws or shortcomings to them, but I am constantly amazed by how fantastic Metalgelas is. For me, he's the standout of that set. Which, did make Gai a bit more worthwhile to get, for me at least.

And Ryuga, wow, gorgeous repaint of Ryuki. The gold accents are beautiful. And he's cheaper than Gai, so get him first.

I have to agree. Genocider is the crown jewel of the Ryuki Figuarts. Simply incredbile set of figures. It's what convinced me to pony up the top dollar prices for Gai. ANd honestly just to have them all together it's totally worth it.
