Beware isn't perfect but damn if it doesn't deserve better treatment then what it got.

Son of Batman was released early digitally and I Just got done watching it.

Eh, it's an average movie.

Not too bad, but not great either.

I think my problem with the film comes from Damian. Now I don't read the comics so this movie is my first exposure to the character proper…and he just comes off as a Marry Sue.

And then there's Deathstroke..the movie doesn't really do a good job of making him look cool or threatening at all. He just comes off as your typical villain for the sake of being the villain. His motivation of being robbed of inheritance is very cliche too.

I don't know…something about this movie just screams fanfic to me…maybe Damian's better in the comics?

Like I said: It ain't a bad movie and there's some great action scenes. But I think if your someone that's experiencing either Deathstroke or Batman fatigue this is one to skip.

Some highlights of the movie: Batman making smalltalk with Killercroc in the opening scene, and Alfred's sarcasm. Oh and make sure you watch the credits as it shows snippets of the Damian VS Nightwing fight.

Some of those episode descriptions make me actually want to watch the show.

I never watched it because I was taking a protest a bit on Cartoon Network for cancelling Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series.
