The show works so well because of how tight the narrative is. 13 episodes are perfect for tv shows like that. Something I think Flash and Arrow dont pull off as well.

We watched the first five episodes to Dare Devil today and they are all right. You can definitely tell this is the first season because they haven't figured out what they really want to do with anything yet. I do feel it is taking a little too long for Matt to take the name DareDevil and give us his damn costume. The acting is decent, but the female characters seem to have the same bad writing as they do in the DC stuff. I'm glad that the new Spider-Man movie is skipping the origin story. All they need to do is make mention of which origin their following and continue on. I'm even alright with him being in High School, which makes me think it's Ultimate Spider-Man.
