I'm back running Pokemon while my main shows are on break on TV.

I have one more episode of Doctor Who on the 26th with Ruby and the 15th Doctor. (Daily Motion). I had watched all 3 parts of the 60th.

Then it's a 7 week run of All Creatures Great And Small and Miss Scarlet And The Duke on PBS.

On DVD I'm watching Titans Series III. Their final had finished up on Max.

Mostly I watch movies I missed on DVD up to 2022.

I watch old episodes on DVD as most stream services only
run current year episodes. Or in a lot of cases current week.

On TV they air once and you never see them again.

So I use DVD to catch up episodes I missed. Boomerang would stop
Pokemon before the Silver Conference Finals so I'm finishing
Master Quest on DVD. This was when I had it in 2010.

With DVD it's a cost trade off. Pay once and own it or a monthly and catch when they air.

Then you have to bolt home to be there in time before it starts.

DVD is also about rescheduling so you can see it. Sure you'll
be a few moths behind.

Losing someone close was hard enough but another person I wanted to meet at the same time was just too much.

I am doing better and I'm moving forward, hopefully planning to accomplish some bigger projects moving on to next year.

I did an evil and not only subjected my YST group to Shinkenger, but specifically we are now midway through the Decade crossover.

One of them is only half-jokingly shipping Takeru and Tsukasa.

Pokemon is only 22 minutes each so they're short.

As for movies the theater close to where I live had gone to 12 bucks a ticket as it is so for a few years I'd watch them on DVD.

I used to group ship movies in.

Once I finish what I have it will be several months or worse before new movies come out I want to see and so far that's only been maybe 6. After I see them nothing.

Merry Christmas Everyone! I hope you are having a good day! Hope this time of year is being kind to you.

So first Christmas without Mum. It has been a hard time, and I have felt the lowest of the low. But at the same time, the sights and sounds of this time of the year, the decorations the lights the music, have always been special to me and the one time when I feel everything could be okay. So this time of the year I feel terrible and yet at the same time not so, if that makes sense. I remember all the Christmases past, the ones through middle and high school, and it gives me something to hold onto.

Just when I thought I was at an all time low, I lost the rock that was my mother. Having got to interact with you people here along with online in general has likely been a life saver! I have now been here since near enough the middle of the year and got to have a good join in with some good conversations over that time.

Power Rangers played a part of my Christmas for many years from Mighty Morphin through Zeo, with the big things like the Zords and the Rangers and monsters alongside them being the annual presents during that time.
For now I have everything I want merchandise wise so nothing related for me this year, but I know for a lot of people here at least one thing under their Christmas Tree is going to be.
So thinking of you guys and gals, and of the many a Christmas past, I want to wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas!

I will keep checking during the holiday period so do lookout for me.

Trying to fill out the Dex mainly.

My challenge to myself is to finish PGSM this weekend considering I've been trying for three years now and I've got like 8 episodes not counting specials to go.

As for next year... I embark on a most challenging endeavor.

I am going to get to the bottom of why DBZ does nothing for me, and in order to do so, I... am going to watch all of it.

Watch Zom 100. It's a good first season.

I know Zom 100 is an anime (and is infamous for its numerous delays), but I don't get the joke.

Finishing a game I started on PC a long time ago. I watched a few You Tube vids for memory jog.

I'm on Level 11.

The nice thing is that PS 1 and PC both got the release so it was an issue of remembering what level you were at in the game.

There's no joke. I was being honest. The first season just ended and it's good.

And this only covers about....the first 5-6 episodes of the anime. Content-wise, not necessarily faithfully.

Never tell me to watch something, especially something current. Much like V-Tubers and The Chained Sawman, I usually wind up disliking it and then become resentful because I'm the one person on the planet who Doesn't Get It.

There's really nothing to get for Zom 100. It's your typical zombie apocalypse survival series with some wholesomeness and life lessons thrown in.

Watched the NY 2024 ring in last night on You Tube.

Doctor Who comes back in May.

In 2024 I resume runs of shows I started.

I had a few 6 parters drop which slowed it down.

Movie tickets were 12 bucks so I would watch them on DVD.

As for Pokemon mostly filler waiting for shows I watch to start back up.

Movie wise I've almost caught up on ones I need to see.

I usually will watch all episodes of a movie series together generally. This includes ones I missed.

There are a few movies pre 2022 I missed on DVD that I own so I'll catch those up first.

You know, I always loved this Dragonzord. Partly because it was the first true Legacy Zord, and it came after 'that' Megazord. The difference in terms of design quality aside, it also does a few things a lot better than even the Chogokin which now stands on my shelf in its place. The face on this one is entirely better, particularly front on. Seen from the front the Chogokin one does look quite derpy!

Indigo League - Ultra Legends + Movies On DVD

The license to run these expires out so even if you bought the
movie digital you no longer have it as the service you bought it from
no longer carries it.

So digital wise you're out 20 bucks.

As for the episodes neither Boomerang nor Disney XD airs them.

This is my main reason for owning on disk

Ultimate Journeys and Horizons will air on Pokemon TV at a later date

Imo, one of the major factor of the video game industry shrinks is due their expensive production and AI could a cheaper way to solve this problem.

A I got into trouble so I don't see that happening.

Like Anime in the US games will have a voice cast but

I love Aeon Flux, but the idea of a new series probably won't happen. The 90s was the era of new and unusual or experimental ideas. The bizarre shit was the norm back then which is why I did love being a kid during that decade because it shape my creativity and love for many avant garde work. I think people these days won't be open to something surreal and crazy Aeon Flux. Paramount won't see a profit from it on their services.

Considering that when I asked for ?Best Animated Series of 2023, I was thrown "Scavengers Reign", I think that Aeon Flux also has a chance.

So, could be in some free-to-air channel ?

I just finished Battle Frontier (Series IX) and noticed something.

Ash always loses all the region tourneys. Even May got hosed in two grand festival competitions and never won.

Is it just me or do these anime feel like a hose job to you where the heroe never wins?
