The greatest attention to Neon is yet to come. Those same two episodes during which I decided to resume watching the show and quit it again.

I'm in it for the long haul. Will it be worth it? Probably not. But many will say I didn't give the show a fair chance if I don't.

Even more focus on my least liked character? Oh boy, I sure can't wait...

Sadly, the narrative is never focused on Sara, but rather on the profound effect she has on Neon and Keiwa as their "beacon of hope", according to producer Takebe. I think Sara accomplished something more impressive than any of her feats as a Rider, when she as a civilian saved the kid in the Heaven and Hell game. While her role as the beacon of hope is important, I agree that it would've been nice to see more focus on her and her own desires.

The 8 years of Akari and 11 years of Neon. :p Personally, my favorite Neon moment and Geats fight scene overall is still the awesome BeatBoost x Kyuun fight from Episode 30!

I remember this fight was criticized for the fact that Neon needed the active intervention of Kyuun. But given that this is his second and last fight in the entire Geats (and, most likely, in the entire franchise), I'm not sure if this is a plus or a minus.

Daiji and George both did it better.

I just finished the main show for Geats, and I'll post some more fuller thoughts later, but for now, just know that the show very much was not for me, and that all the final arc achieved was remind of other shows I've seen that have tackled alot of aspects of Geats' story way better such as Samurai Flamenco and Legend Heroes.

At least you managed to finish it. By the way, I can say that the subsequent Gotchard is in many ways perceived as anti-Geats and, although objectively this is the other extreme, which is not good, for me personally watching it was very relaxing and enjoyable.

I second what Mesnick said. Gotchard is a real heartwarming and inspiring show with a strong dynamic between the two co-protagonists who are similar yet different. Might be just the tonic for you after the more cynical Geats.

From what little I know of Gotchard, it does seem like a show that's alot more up my alley. But for now, I'm taking a break from Rider for the most part.

The next one I plan to watch, however, is Kamen Rider X.

Oh, X definitely deserves attention. It's not as flashy as V3 and Amazon, but it definitely has its advantages and interesting finds. Plus, the first rider with his weapon and the Starfish-Hitler.
