well what happened in the anime Lilo is mentioned in the First Epsiode by Jumba and sayign she has no Time with Stich no more due to she has a boy Friend meaning she in High School and more of a teenager so Stich cause havic in the atomospher of earth crash lands on Fantasy Japanese Island nad meets the new Girl and has to Learn and collect good deeds.

I've not watched much of it, but I don't remember ever reading there were original experiments in the anime.

That only happens in the dub. Lilo isn't mentioned in the original language version until she appears in the third season where she left for college, was meant to meet up with Stitch but got sidetracked because Nani was pregnant. Stitch thought he was abandoned and left. They meet again when she's an adult (she has a daughter) and make up.

I'd be perfectly fine if the anime had been an AU but tying it to the original in that manner completely goes against the point of it.

EDIT: Forgot to mention I went to see "This is the End" last night. I have to say I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected to.

Exactly. If the Japanese wanted an AU Japanese Lilo that's fine. However to break up the old ohana to shoehorn in this girl is annoying to fans of the original.

So, I recently saw White House Down or Die Hard Goes to the White House. All things considered, I really quite enjoyed it. You can tell that it didn't try and take itself too seriously which worked out for the best.

It's ironic that the most present theme of Lilo and Stitch was family and the anime completely missed the point :lol

Went out and saw Monsters University earlier.

It wasn't bad but it was kinda soulless and predictable. Its hard to be invested in the plot when we already know from the first movie that NOTHING THEY DO HERE REALLY MAKES A DIFFERENCE.

Still waiting for "Incredibles 2," Pixar!

Watched Atlantic Rim, gets progressively worse but honestly for Z-Grade cinema it isn't ironic fun, it's actually enjoyable. I've noticed that Asylum really has been putting a lot more care and thought into their films lately and they have long since surpassed their criticisms as just being a rip off company.

Of all the possible sequels, why not more "Incredibles" films!?
It's a superhero movie! Those things are milked for all the sequels that they're worth and then some. Why not seize upon the opportunity and make big bucks on popular trends!?

Pixar's owned by Disney. Disney owns Marvel. Marvel's superhero blockbusters get sequels. Disney likes money.
It's just logical given the market for the genre!
