You know how he uses rings to transform?
His entire helmet (the grey parts) and mask is literally a ring.

EDIT: While I'm on the subject of Wizard, can someone please tell me why he seems to never actually punch his enemies?

If you had your magic transformation devices right there on your hands, would you run the risk of shattering them by punching someone? (Or possibly just hurting your own fingers in the process.)

It's a factor of two things. First is that he's a showman. Open hands in order to show you're not hiding anything. When it comes to sleight of hand tricks, part of a good palming technique is to rarely have your hand clenched into a fist. Otherwise, it's a dead giveaway that you're hiding something.

Second, I don't think they wanted to make 10 rings per fight scene since I'm sure a punch would probably break them :lol

Ahahaha yeah it would totally suck for the Wizard Rings to suddenly break in the middle of a scene. :lol

I just realized that Zero-One yellow parts on the helmet looked like a mask, this is quite possibly the first time it's a literal Kamen Rider

Sorta? I'd argue the Ghost Personas are pretty mask-like, all things considered. Den-O and Zeronos also had their faces formed by different masks. There's probably others I'm not thinking of, it's still pretty rare.

Now that I think of it, the very first Kamen Rider, Ichigou, didn't even have a mask. It's a whole helmet! Wonder why Ishinomori named them 'Kamen Rider'.

Yeah Den-O is another case, and the eyes are literally naned DenKamen. And Ryuki actually wears a mask as well, huh!

I guess Helmet Rider doesn't sound good. And back then when people think of superheroes, they think of people wearing masks. Also probably helps that kids could easily draw the Riders on a paper and cuts them to wear as a makeshift mask.

Helmet Rider still sounds interesting to me. :D

If Kamen Riders mostly have bikes, I think all of Helmet Riders are have cars :D
