That's likely the name of the suits the Beast Morphers use. Grid Battlizer. GB.

If so, why didn't they use that name for the show itself? Was anything using the "GB" acronym simply not marketable? Dekaranger became S.P.D. because "S.P.D." was so heavily prominent on everything from gear, to suits, to Mecha. "Special Police Dekaranger" was changed to "Space Patrol Delta" and ultimately the acronym was more prominent than what it actually stood for!

In all likelihood...

The team will use the "Beast Morphers" to summon their "Grid Battler" suits, tapping in to the Morphin Grid to do cool "morphinominal fun".

Just thought of it now but I look forward to the Kurorin, Tohru, and Miho counterparts.

Personally, I hope it's not a sequel to anything and that whatever Grid the Rangers are protecting isn't the Morphing Grid, or that if it is, the connection to the rest of the PR-verse isn't a central part of the plot. It seems like with a new company running things and adapting a Sentai season that is different from a lot of others, relying on connecting it to past seasons would be a mistake.

Of course, I don't have high hopes for that, because based on how Hasbro handles Transformers I can't imagine them passing up a chance to pander to sweet, sweet nostalgia.

A minor thing I just remembered, but when Hasbro gets to work on Beast Morphers I hope they bring in new sound effects because I got tired of Neo-Saban's "Everything is a laser" sound effect library.

If we get Toqger as Power Rangers after this, I just need to point out that we could get a female red and a male then. All they would have to do is use the Sentai footage in away that makes it look like there's a female red and a male pink.

You can blame Disney for that one, they started using those sound effects back in Mystic force

I hope we can get more creative gimmicks in the collector's based toy line.

Playing the MMPR theme was cool at first and made sense in the Morpher but after awhile it just kinda became a one trick pony.
