If you're going to watch a movie from Gosei, and Zeo will back me up on this, watch Shinken v Goseiger. It's by far the best and one of, if not the, best Sentai movie ever produced.

Is anything from Goseiger worth watching?

Ground Gosei Great. And it's a damn impressive combo. To just be a 2 mech combo it's very impressive.
Actually they do reference it. In epic 38 they summon Gosei Wonder to save that bullet train going across the bridge that Metal Alice blew up. They briefly flash to the movie footage and then the cards appear to summon it.
Shinkenger Vs Goseiger is still one of the BEST team-up movies there is.

I've been hearing that a lot. I guess I'll take your word for it and watch it. When does it occur? Or will I get previews for it to indicate when I should watch it?

When the previews start popping up is a good time. It takes place after the Yuuma have been around a while. Around Epic 30 should be safe.

Currently pushing through a slog of episodes. Nothing much seems to be occurring. Some mild character development here and there, but nothing really important or major. So far, the only thing new is during this laughter episode, where we find out that Gosei Knight is willing to not be a colossal dick for 5 minutes.

Lots of stuff going down. Buredoran died, Makuin and Kingugon pulled a double-double cross, Gosei Knight continues to not be an ass, and the Goseigers are...Yeah. They're there too.
But, during my little marathon of this series, there is nothing stronger to kill my drive to keep watching than an Eri episode. It's strange, I don't even hate the character. I think Eri is alright. But her episodes are just...Bad.

Just waiting for Kyoryuger.

You'll be waiting for upwards of two months. You should watch another Sentai in that time period, like Gekiranger. :D

Do this. Kyoryuger doesn't air until February anyway.

Ah, the exact same reason I can't finish Dekaranger. DekaPink episodes keep killing any drive I once had to finish the show.

Yeah. It's a shame. In all actuality, Eri episodes are somewhat few and far between, but because I'm marathoning it, episodes that would be spaced months apart are being viewed in much faster succession...
I seriously want to skip this episode, but I know that the episode I skip would be the one with major plot revelations or something (Happened to me with Double, for example x3)...

Watch them in chronological order, so Geki comes first :3

That's one good thing about Dekaranger, it has no plot to skip over so skipping a Pink episode isn't a problem. :p

Honestly, I'd recommend against this. Sure, Geki is great, but that's the problem. It's so good that it makes it hard to enjoy other, lesser Sentai shows. Which is a problem I'm kinda having with Shinkenger... But I refuse to quit! I downloaded the first 12 episodes already, I can't afford to quit! ;_;

I agree with this. I don't think I've had this problem with Sentai (because I like 90's Sentai and that's not subbed in order anyways), but I have had this with Kamen Rider. I haven't been able to really get into another past Kamen Rider series since Agito because Agito is the closest thing to perfect that Kamen Rider will ever get.

Why on Earth would you want to skip a Umeko episode, though? :confused:

Episode 10 of Gekiranger. Look, I liked Jungle Fury. Alot. But watching Gekiranger makes me wonder why they didn't take more from Gekiranger. Like the gauntlets, and the good acting. With real emotion and everything! So far though I'm very glad I made a deal to watch this. Very good series.

Because a little Umeko is more than enough. Focusing on her is just painful...unless she's drunk. Then it's awesome, but so are most drinking episodes of Sentai. :p

Keep in mind that I have many problems with Dekaranger, Umeko is just one of them. In fact, it's easier to tell you what I like about the show. In a word, Dekamaster. He is awesome and too good for this show.

Been needing something new to watch for a while. So I think I'm gonna dive into Dekaranger. It's one of the newer sentais I've never seen, and that's mainly because I watched all of SPD in the US. From what I understand SPD has more of a plot than Dekaranger. But I figured why the hell not.

Thoughts on episode one? My god the furries must have lost their minds over this show :lol Beyond that? It was actually pretty quirky, and different, and well fun. It's a little refreshing to honest to see some more lively rangers running around. Still think the Doggie suit for SPD is leaps and bounds better though. Enjoying my first taste, torrenting the first full batch of episodes now.

I much prefer Doggie's suit in Dekaranger. The scales and the large bug eyes on the SPD suit was just too much.

But the mouth is just open. He always looks like he just forgot to do something. At least the US suit looked liked it was actually talking, the mouth moving is what really helped me like it more. Or at least it moved as I remember it. I could be completely wrong :lol

The Japanese mouth does move...barely. And they forget it very often. The US animatronics are way better.

After I finish Kiva & OOO, I'm thinking of taking a break from Kamen Rider & watching something like Jetman. Because I hear that has an awesome Black Ranger.

I'm getting a massive Machine Empire vibe from them. It feels like any minute they'd travel to the moon and dig up Serpentera.

Following that logic a man who once lived in the jungle and became Red will fly his motorcycle into Serpentara and blow it to Hell.. So incoming Geki!

So, what do they do for episode 41? Throw me an Eri episode. Dammit...I hate the character type Eri is.

She may by inferior to the awesome and pedastal worthy Moune, but Eri has her moments. Awesome moments of epic.

Shinkenger Act 4. I'm warming up to this show. The Gedoshu making a kid jump off the roof of a building was pretty cruel; I honestly wasn't expecting it to happen. Ooh look, the first Samurai Busou!

Ran is an awesome yellow Sentai. Not as good as Moune, of course. I mean who is, really? No one. But Ran is pretty solid, and alot less annoying than Lily. Mere I like better than Camille, but I'm torn between Rio and DaiShi. I liked DaiShi. But I also like Rio. I don't know.

What I do enjoy is GekiViolet. RJ was epic, but Gou's Henshin. . . I love them both with equally awesome.

The one thing I'd change is Xia Fu. I don't remember the same character in Jungle Fury being that... bouncy.

Weren't Sha Fu and Gou merged into RJ for Jungle Fury?

I like Ran more than Moune. Don't know why, I just do.
