If you mean that, that's not MiniPla, it's the Candy Toy versions of the Ressha that go in the ToQger changing thing.

haha they do, but then make you feel really bad about yourself when they do it.

I really do think these guys look better than the DX versions, at least in terms of proportion and articulation. I kind of regret never having bought any, but the stickers really put me off and I'm not confident enough in my painting skills. But they really do look great.

I decided to accept a potential ban and just not pay. Not exactly going to lose sleep over it.

I have Toq-oh on the way, but I'm seriously considering something different for the sticker sheet.

I can paint and have done transformers for a while but I am just wondering if scanning in the sticker sheet and printing it on decal paper might be the way to go. At least that way it won't just peel off and should sit closer to the plastic of the toy.

Got a Toq-Oh on the way too. Haven't been this excited for a minipla in a long time!

Now to paint my poor bragigas in the mean time, been sat naked for months...

Anyone know the case breakdown for Toq-oh?

Saw a pic of someone's box, at least 2 of each. The one I saw had-

3x Red
2x Blue
3x Yellow
2x Green
2x Pink

12 pieces per box.

Dunno what I'm gonna do with the extra yellow and red resshas, may try and make some shadow line customs if I have the time.

Although the extra yellow is handy to have double sword stickers if I mess the paint up.

Hey guys, I was wondering if there is an alternative to buying miniplas somewhere other than CSToys? Their shipping is really high for me for some reason. BTW I love the paintwork you guys display and feel like I'm going to get hardcore into these. Is there a list of what's been released in this line somewhere? Thanks in advance:)

After watching the Japanese review of minipla TokkyuOh I am amazed at how these things have more engineering than the DX toys

Bandai could borrow much of these designs and make SOC versions of sentai mecha. Fully transforming, articulated, with metal content ... Who wouldn't buy those

The Miniplas are poseable yes but they usually lack the gimmicks of the bigger toys. Considering how some of the mechs get quite big once fully combined its probably a good thing they lack the articulation...

From my opinion. I think main target for DX is children. It have gimmicks pre-painted and it size is too big for movement joint. If it have that much joints it joints will be as strong as soul of chogokin toy, that will make it's price too expensive for parents to buy it for they kid.

The DX is not bereft of engineering. Where they lack in articulation they make up for in stability, durability and solid joints. Like kun says below:

Tottaly worth the wait. I sooo need a minipla gokai oh now.

Just recently got back into Sentai mecha and minipla myself. Stopped collecting around Hurricaneger after getting the full DX set and Minipla.

Most recent additions are ToQ-Oh, Gokaioh (got all three versions cheap off Jauce.com/Yahoo!Japan) and Goujyujin minipla. I've done full painted gunpla before but these will be my first Sentai minipla paintjob.

That's actually pretty neat! Even emulates the chest protrusions (cannon, dragon) on on some of the configurations.

I also have an extra ToQ Oh, by the way, and an extra Red and Pink (hey, if someone has an extra blue and green, someone ELSE even can have a ToQ Oh! ...leaves a lot of reds though hah).

Also, set 2 went up on AmiAmi last night, not sure if it's still available.

I always miss the case orders and preorders on AmiAmi (and yes set 2 is already sold out)...but I did make it in time for set #2 on HLJ. Going to have extras to break even on cost when it comes.

A bit of a shift on topic, but does anyone own the Hong Kong version Samurai Haoh or at least some kits of it? I want to know if it also has the same horror stories of poor quality that other reissued kits did before I jump the gun and buy it without searching for the Japanese one.

My Tokkyuoh candy toy set arrived today; he's all built and ready to go. He was definitely worth it, and I honestly don't mind the minor cheat of splitting up 2 and 4 to create better torso halves and legs. The gap created by splitting them is barely noticeable and it creates nicely-poseable hips. Bring on the other Resshas!

I got mine from eBay seller Macross50711 (here's the listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bandai-Candy...item1c3de65d8b). Thirty bucks with shipping including was the best deal I could find without having to split a case with someone and it was here within a week.
