I can't wait for Imagination Station's GoGo V! It's the fist sentai I ever saw a full (raw) episode of many, many years ago, and I know Victorious Imagin and co. deliver a quality product.

they just said like 5 posts ago they're upto episode 33 and will release a batch sometime in September.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there are no fansubs of Denjiman or Dynaman? I'm hoping to watch as much Super Sentai as possible before I actually get around to Gokeiger....I think I'll appreciate it a lot more that way? Thoughts?

DFF translated a decent chunk of Denjiman before disbanding, I can provide you with the scripts for some of the episodes if you'd like. Rampage Subs wants to tackle the series, but it'll be awhile before that happens.

MillionFold Curiosity will be doing Dynaman after OhRanger. DFF released three episodes, but they're near impossible to find now. :X

Son of a *****!!! My Hard Drive with all of my Sentai and Kamen Rider fansubs just died on me. WTF?!

Ugh, sorry to hear it. Drive failures are always awful, especially without adequate backups.

Well, my compute expert friend looked at my hard drive I mentioned that died last week and everything was completely fried to the point of being unrecoverable. I don't even know how it fried but he said he could smell it burning when he tried to hook it up to his device.

Looks like I'm going to be spending a lot of time on Nyaa getting every rider, Sentai, and anime series I had on there. It was only 1.5 TBs worth.

Not heard anything about Geki, but Free Joker scubbed Gokai and Go-Bus (and half of Kyoryu) with BD raws. From what I remember they're modified Overtime scripts.

I doubt Shout Factory has the resources to do an actual proper dub for the show.

It's a mistake. Amazon does it all of the time.

if they had dubbed it
it will give the DVD ver more advantage then the subbed ver
but it will also mean that they will do extra work/financing for a DVD box that the majority of the sentai fans & ppl barely know it exists.

That's your decision, but mind you that Over-Time's are still the best subtitles that you'll find in terms of both translation and video quality (plus they've released more episodes) :X

I don't think that's quite as big an issue, unless Shout suddenly starts releasing them every couple of months or something as opposed to annually like they seem to be, and even that is dependent on sales. I'd be surprised if we get beyond Kakuranger on those, to be honest.

As for subbers becoming de-motivated, I seem to recall TV-Nihon for a while was convinced the Zyuranger DVDs weren't happening and didn't pull their subs right away like GUIS did.

All I know is, Over-Time started the TimeRanger project over four and a half years ago and are currently on episode 21... Unless they decide to prioritize it, they'll probably need at least another four - six years to finish

So, I think Shout Factory! would be cutting it close even if they stick to an annual schedule. '^^

I know it's shameless, but I'll admit the first thing I did when Shout! announced the Dairanger DVD was run to TVN and download the entire series. Same for Zyu, too :lol

But I guess the race is on to see who'll get Timeranger out first.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this, but I'm pretty sure someone (Imagination Station I think?) has been working on that for a while and is eventually going to release it in bulk.

TVN have Timeranger in their "On Hold" section on their forum for quite a while. Considering their latest Timeranger release was 2013, I think its safe to say that whatever issues caused them to put it on hold are still an issue. At least for the last two years, anyway.

Yeah, they're the ones working on it (heck, the guy who was translating it for Hikari-Senshi is part of Imagination Station). Dunno if its gonna be in bulk or the weekly pace they had with Abaranger though.

Excellent. I loved GoYellow from GaoRanger vs Super Sentai.

I... would not take Daimon's portrayal in Gao vs. SS for face value. He's far less high-strung in the series itself.

That said, I AM on that episode with the milk/tornado drop, so amusing thing there.
