Omega Ranger, sure, he had to be coming at some point since we started SPD and as the Sixth he was much more guaranteed than any other team member aside from maybe Kat. But with his bike? That's very new! And quite welcome!

Holy crap that's actually super awesome. Makes me hope that the other Rangers with notable bikes get the same treatment. (Ninja Storm Crimson, Dino Thunder Blue, etc.)

My personal hope is we could get a Lightning Collection Cruz that comes with his bike mode.

That listing matches with the one from Amazon Italy that was found in March. This is the first time it's been decoded though. Amazon Italy has it for a July 1st pre-order.

SPD is apparently successful for Hasbro. I hope that means we get to see more SPD merch and not so much MMPR merch. I love MMPR but I have plenty. I just want the full team and that's it.

At the very least if we see Kat after this, that'd be great to combine with the SHF Dekarangers for a full set!

Kat is very likely to be the next release in a given wave. If only because they could save alot of budget with her since she doesn't require many accessories.

Holy shit gotta say him coming with Uniforce Cycle is pretty amazing. You'd expect Hasbro would take the easy way and just have a punching effect for Omega.

The Omega Ranger design is great and I don't know who at Bandai is pushing for these, and I respect it.

I think they'll still do Omega Ranger's head. He was in the show, no matter how little screentime it was. Especially in a big deluxe set like this, I can't see them not including it; as opposed to Magna Defender not coming with his so that he could come with everything he needed to.

Totally random thought I just had, but you know what I hope comes with the future MMPR Green(even though it likely won't)?

Two different Dragon Shields for him to wear. One the regular one, the other made of cloth. :lolol

The thing about Omwga Ranger's civilian head, if they're gonna make it, it's probably going to look terrible because that's the o ly image they have for reference.

They could always go off of the actor's head shot since most actors give when they audition.

Or just any image of the actor. He does exist after all, he wasn't created in a lab for the purposes of Power Rangers. ... right?

for my two cents, i doubt he's going to come with a swappable head. doesn't feel like it's worth it for this character, and they can probably put the accessory money into something else for him

If I remeber correctly, Omega Ranger's civilian actor is an uncredited extra and not the who voiced him throughout his appearances. Unless the behind the scenes kept record of the actors names, it'll be a bit tricky to trace them. They're probably just going to use that image since they pretty much took the old photos of the Rangers for headsculpts.

And it's the reason why some doesn't really look good because all they have for reference is a low quality photos, and Power Rangers isn't big enough to produce a HD pic like they did with Star Wars.

Still though, I think Omega Ranger wouldn't come with an alternate head.

Looks like they applied more paint apps to this version of the Zedd figure.

Also, it's a little thing, but I am happy the box has the classic MMPR logo on it. I'm glad I pre-ordered this set. Hopefully the Rita figure itself turns out good.

Which additional paint apps are you seeing? This is probably more a testament to the Wave 1 figure than anything else, but I genuinely can't tell any differences aside from the hands.

The chest is also a slightly brighter silver. Or maybe the Zedd figure I already have is missing that. Either way, looks different from the one I have.

But man, the Zedd figure in general is just so good. I really hope Rita doesn't disappoint.

It looks like the Rita figure has different paint on the face as well. It looks better than the prototype, but I don't think it's the sculpt.

Also, I am surprised they are making Zordon and Alpha it's own 2 pack like that. I would think they would have put Alpha 5 with the Green MMPR release to guarantee sales. I hope it comes with some Command Center accessories like the viewing globe and some consoles.

OR, since they did use Barza (Zordon’s Sentai counterpart) in MMPR, there’s that option.

Not really. It's likely just gonna be two figures. (or a figure and a statue) Unless they decide to give us a Command Center diorama like how Dragon Stars recently made an Arena one.

Lightning Collection Green/White Morpher next please

I'm not really sure what I expected from the Alpha 5 and Zordon two pack, but this was a bit of a let down. I mean, I guess that is the only way you could do Zordon. It just looks...off. Also the price... I guess it is a two pack with all new molding, but $30 bucks for this set is hard to swallow. I would like to see a viewing globe at least.

The Putty two pack is nice and I like the chest energy effect. I wish I had not bought multiple Fighting Spirit two packs now.... I will need to sell those off for more of these at only 29.99.

The other stuff is ok. Psycho Green we knew would come eventually.

I worry that this line is not doing so hot. Still no wave 6 announced. All of these are exclusives and two of them are pulse exclusives. I assume these were going to be Game Stop exclusives, but either Game Stop pulled out or Hasbro did.

It likely more has to do with the outbreak than anything.

I wonder how someone got the idea that this line is tanking...
The Wave with Ranger Slayer isn't out yet and people are already asking for another wave.

The Lightning Collection is doing so badly that we got an Alpha 5 and Zordon pack announced, that we are waiting for Rita and Zedd, that they are releasing a Ranger Morpher with all the coins...

How can you judge, with this, that the line isn't doing so good?

We will be able to judge after they did all the MMPR Rangers and relevant characters, and that all will can have then will be post MMRP Rangers.
We will see what they will do with the line.
