Does... Does Nook really know anything about mortgages? Because like he doesn't take your house if you don't pay your bills, which is the whole point of a mortgage.

He knows how to talk you into one and saddle you with debt, so it's not like he's totally blameless. And who knows if we'll see Timmy & Tommy Break Legs DLC?

Debt is different then a mortgage though, nook is a crocked like mob boss not a banker. Timmy and Tommy break legs because Nook can't sick the police on you without getting arrested himself.

Tom Nook calls it a mortgage, and I'm into him for too many Bells to correct him.

Tom Nook is a saint because he never asks for that debt, the debt is not only simply to pay for his services of making a house for you, but he only accepts his money when you go out of your way to give it to him, maybe you need to pay for food or gas? No worries, he understands and wants you to prioritize your own essentials

So, yeah, Tom Nook isn't breathing down your neck or anything, taking you to a very cute courtroom to garnish your Bells or whatever. You're not in trouble if you take forever to pay him back, or even if you never do. But, for some people (me, for one), that amount of money your owe him is, like, a Telltale Mortgage. It's always there, haunting your nights and distracting your days. That number, that debt, can feel omnipresent, the only worthwhile data point in an otherwise relaxing game.

Plus, it's just funny to think of a very friendly raccoon dog as a cold-hearted son of a bitch.

Considering that I live in Kentucky, I'm going to just assume it's a regular raccoon. Lol.

The temperature decided to drop hard today so it was a poor decision to sleep in shorts, brrr. Also finished Ex-Aid so trying to figure out the next series I want to watch. Thinking Faiz since I never finished it

Welp looks I'm going to be under shelter in place order until at least May 15th, so I should probably ship those SO-DOs I bought to split with Die.

Yay for me, I guess? We're on shelter-in-place through at least May 1st, which has gotten me to finally address my Figure-rise backlog, as well as SO-DOs. It's maybe a small benefit of having to find things to do at home.

Yeah, I've bought a bunch over the last year, but had no time to build them. They only take a couple hours at most, but I was working six days a week. Well, not an issue now! I've done CycloneJoker, Ex-Aid, and Zi-O over the last week or so. I've got Geiz, Kabuto, LunaTrigger, and HeatMetal left to go, gotta assume I'll have those wrapped up by the end of April.

I really wish that, like, half of the kits weren't of shows I haven't seen. Putting together Zi-O today, I kept having to look at the photos on the box to make sure I was layering stickers correctly. I just, I don't know what he's supposed to look like!

They're fun to build, though, even if I don't have a huge investment in some of these characters yet.

I ordered up Star Wars Episode IX The Rise Of Skywalker on DVD today and I get it May 6th. I'm watching Episodes V - VIII since I have a few weeks.

Also I will soon be watching the Jumanji and Kung Fu Panda trilogies. Bought the first Jumanji so I may watch that soon. 2 and 3 are out on DVD.

I think we're both more at risk from Plastic And Sticker Poisoning, and there is no known cure.

It's been a long time, but I remember those Kung Fu Panda films being surprisingly good. I'm not usually much for non-Disney animation, but that series had some great stuff. Hope you dig 'em!

Also watching Pirates 2 and 3 on DVD right now. I did see Mission Impossible VI Fallout on DVD.

I've been thinking of this for a while now and I'm honestly considering giving away my copies of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars DVD sets plus movie as well as the Son of Dathomir graphic novel and the Dark Disciple novel by this point and time.

So update on Arsene the raccoon. She has officially left the house. She is now with a woman who is licensed to take of and rehabilitate raccoons. I was told I can get updates and pictures when I ask. So I'll be keeping touch. Lol. As sad I am to see her go, I know it's in her best heath interests that we did this. So it's a bittersweet end for me. But a very good one for her in the long run.

You did good friend. I'm glad you get to keep updated on her.

I'd be inested in Star Wars The Clone Wars actually so I can finish Series 5. I saw year 4 on Netflix DVD rental with a friend of mine.

Quite frankly, you're honestly better off just sticking to the 2003 Clone Wars series. It has little to no needless and loose plot threads where you must read the expanded material and/or watch another series in order to see them resolved. Not to mention that the first CW series served as a more natural bridge between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.

I mean, there's still Cadbury Creme Eggs, right? Can't be all bad if we've still got those.

I sprained my ankle very badly and I’m probably not able to walk for at least a couple days. So I have to use a cane to walk around with and it barely helps.
