This is more akin to what I was hoping Extreme would be. Making great use of Tarantula and Dragonfly's mounting points to adjust the placement of certain pieces. Kabuto as a shoulder cannon looks awesome, and the bulkier sword is rather fun considering it's now half chainsaw :lol

I don't get it. Gira is already able to control all the ShuGods, and if it's a power thing, none of them have demonstrated any unique abilities.

Oh that's what it is! I had this feeling of familiarity when I looked at the new form and the weapon, but for some reason I couldn't place it.

I think it's more like he can use special attacks themed after all of them.

I wonder after Gira becomes the new king of Shugoddam, what if the next enemy the rangers face after the Bugnarak would be some new villain group who want to end all rule and make a free world?

That idea I thought of would've went to the sixth ranger. But now... will there be a villainous rebel group instead?

Otherwise Racules.... oh who knows. Just hope he gets locked up in an iron mask with his cell.

With how quickly all of this seems to be happening, I'm gonna guess we'll be seeing the permanent death of a general within the next 6 episodes.

It does make me wonder what the second half of the series is going to do.

Super forms for the team? A second mecha? (unlikely given how integral King Ohger is to the story and lore) Like, from Bandai's perspective, what product is going to take up the remainder of the year? Can't just be the final castle mech.

If they go second mecha I can picture a "we now carve out our own legacy" situation happening where something bad happens such as the whole King-ohger and shugod set being unusable and they gotta come up with new shugods or something equivalent that is its own category. Maybe stuff like a standalone mecha like Galaxy Robo from Maskman or Flash Titan from Flashman or a totally new set of a combiner shugod in the vein of Ohblocker from Ohranger.

And it takes them almost 20 episodes to acknowledge themselves as super sentai. :lolol

I dunno, I can?t see Bandai allowing the titular mecha to just be sidelined. Unless it?s upgraded rather than replaced.

It just seems weird that we?re not even halfway through and we?ve only got a single mecha combo left? unless they make additional shugods that combine with the 21 bug combo. O_O

Yeah, it's wild for sure. As for my reasoning behind the whole standalone stuff is that I remembered the reason Galaxy Robo appeared more frequently was because of how clunky the Great Five suit was by 80s toku standards. Apparently the suit actor had a hard time with the suit so they favored the Galaxy Robo which was why it made more appearances in the show after it debuted. :lolol
Of course, I'd like to believe suit acting tech has improved since 1987 but seeing how complex King-Ohger the mecha is I wouldn't be surprised if they want to come up with something more less cluttered by the 3rd quarter.

The 22 Mecha combo, God King-Ohger.

I know I mostly cover Rider leaks, but since I saw these alongside the new Gotchard rumors (see that thread for more details) I figured I'd post them. So the big rumor for Q4 of Kingohger is that Kyoryuger will be returning in September (more specifically King, who will be getting a new power up) with new toys, one of which can interact with DX Kingohger. Also the final mecha should be out in October. Also grain of salt & all that.

The placement of the head verses the stag beetle legs makes me think the new armour goes in between the head and torso to give King Ohger more height.

Then we'll be getting God Super Hyper KingOhGer Turbo HD Remix The New Challengers XXX & Knuckles.

They saw they had a Sentai Red named "King" in a royal based Sentai and just had to include him!

Ohmori is the producer for both King-Ohger and Kyoryuger, so he probably saw Kiramager's crossover with Gekiranger and decided to imitate that. Not sure how exactly that's going to work when Earth and Terra are literally lightyears apart though.

A new Gabutyra to replace God Kuwagata sounds like a pretty elaborate special mecha considering everything that has to peg onto it.

Also considering there are no mecha to form arms for Gabutyra, so they'd have to do something really creative.

They keep saying that it's a 22 Mecha combo, but what are the other two mecha? So far 18 mecha have been released and the Castle as far as I'm aware only comes with one more guardian weapon. So are we getting another two mecha later, the castle actually consists of four mecha, or is it actually a 20 mecha combo?

So far, I think only 20 mechs have been revealed, but there's still time for 2 more demi shugods to get shoe horned into the mix before we get the castle.

While possible, the image of the castle mecha itself only shows 20.

Where are people getting a 22 combo from? The first leaked image of the God King-Ohger combo from months ago was only ever 20.

Hey guys, here's some more info about the Kyoryuger stuff in Kingohger (see pics for detail).

It probably won’t ruin the show but I don’t see it benefitting from this either.

King-Ohger is just so enjoyable being the way it is, I despise the thought of shoving a legacy character into it.

While I personally have problems with Kyoryuger, I'm surprised that it took Toei this long to capitalize on the success of their best-selling installment. In Zenkaiger, the Kyoryuger Gear was one of the last to appear. What season are Toei constantly milking? Gokaiger. It's weird, right? So yeah, I have no interest in King showing up in King-Ohger (I'll take Ian though), but it certainly feels overdue from a marketing perspective.
