Holy shit I thought we were going to get a break with this episode of IBO, but the end of the episode really just escalated shit.

I also love the teddy Bear with Akihiro's eyebrows, it's so funny.

We watched episodes 33-36 tonight, which featured... OH MY GOD IT'S FREAKING METAL GEAR RAY!!!

Ahem, sorry, getting ahead of myself. These episodes went deeper into the story of Gjallarhorn's creation, which was great as I felt they were lacking in the first season. Anyway, that mobile armor is friggin awesome. I'm not sure which was more badass, the fact that it has beam weapons or that it used Ride's mobile suit to deflects its attack into a city. Oh, and the "I'm totally not Gaileo" maskman's mobile suit was also cool.

The hard part about this is that we are catching up really quickly to what is currently airing, which is sad, but I don't want to wait another few weeks to see how this battle ends.

I just has the most stunning realization. I realize what the name Tieria from 00 comes from, like other aspects of that series. I was reading something for my writing class, and in it, it described a computer program that could "create" life within a computer based on a few rules. The program's name is Tierra. Makes sense given he can interface with VEDA and whatnot.

Wait... I'm reading the Gundam wiki and it states that Tieria's name derives from Earth and Angel. Well there goes that theory.

So Vertical is publishing Gundam Wing: Glory of the Losers in the west. It's similar to The Origin in that it's a better retelling of the show it's based on, with more things added. The manga's not completely done yet, so don't expect it all to come out ASAP.

While it is exciting we are getting more Gundam manga, Glory of the Losers to me is kind of disappointing compared to the other stuff people wanted within Vertical's crazy restrictions during that poll they offered. Plus Gundam Wing being the most popular series in the west makes it an easy target for me to dislike when it gets any spotlight.

And TBF, compared to other shows at the time it was pretty accessible. It was more mature but had colourful and cool robots and fairly easy to understand characters. You could like it for the robots, but you could also seem like a heady edge lord to your friends because of the lofty dialogue and violence.

The original show designs were great, but the Endless Waltz Katoki BS ruined those suits. I wouldn't mind this except for the fact it's being retconned into the stuff prior to EW, leave that stuff lone.

Level 5 has partial rights to Gundam Age though, so getting that over here could be difficult.

...That is true, I suppose. What that has to do with the chronology of the Gundam franchise as a whole is completely beyond me.

I like the EW designs just fine, especially the redesigns of the redesigns that made the Katoki ones look more like the show.

I assume it's because they haven't gotten to it yet. They haven't released a substantial amount of series yet like 00, SEED or Wing.

Yeah. They said Wing will be out this year and since come May they will be done with everything UC (other than 0080 on BD for obvious reasons), I'm expecting June and July will see the release of Wing.

Personally, 00 is the only other full length series I need to own. Everything else I must own I already have.

I'll buy 00 as soon as it gets announced, I want to see that series in full HD glory since I've seen it twice on DVD.

That's one ugly looking Gundam. Especially the lower part. More a fan of OG Kimaris compared to the Trooper version, which is what it seems like this kit's going for.
