Modern cartoons aren't bad (some are actually pretty amazing), they just get canceled too quickly. :lol

I find it hard to believe anybody can watch Spongebob at all honestly. Then again I am a bit of a hypocrite because I enjoyed it when I was younger. As I got older I thought and still think it's a stupid show.

I always thought Sponebob was a dumb show. There's no way around that little factoid.
But a show can be bearably stupid (Like Robot Chicken, Gumball, etc) and watchable. Spongebob skirted that line until the movie. I don't watch Spongebob anymore, I'm just saying that pre-movie was actually watchable :lol

I can't really tell the difference to be honest, but that's because I grew up avoiding Spongebob and only started watching as an adult. Now, I quite enjoy it, stupid though it can be (both pre and post movie). Maybe you guys have just changed your tastes as you grew? :lol

Even now the pre movie stuff is pretty stupid to me. I suppose it's just a case of growing up and changing tastes in comedy and entertainment.
