But no way are people giving away the other starters. They're too aware of their values and are hoarding them on GTS instead.

I've never got anything not native to the Kalos dex, let alone any of the other gen starters :lol

The starters aren't that rare to get on GTS. Just filter out exotic Pokemon and none of the requests will have Yveltal and junk.

I always search with those not included. Then filter to Pokémon I own (which should've just been a freaking filter you can enable before searching also) and that generally yields nothing. Or Zapdos or other starters I don't have. Because the Legendary trios don't get filtered with the other Legendaries for some reason. I dunno, must just have shit luck... Still can't find those four Vivillon I need anywhere, for example.

That said, just got a Treeko in a Wonder Trade. But I'm calling that one pure luck.

If you guys are seriously having that terrible luck, I could breed you my starters.

I've just picked up Mudkip (yay), Totodile and Cyndaquil off GTS. I guess once you have one getting the others becomes much easier.

I got so many Snivy's with timid nature (which i hear is the best nature for Snivy) that i want to trade because it feels like a waste to release them.

Got an elgyem from GTS last night. It was hard to find one for a reasonable trade but I found one in the end. Also for a cottonee too.

I got one for my Frillish last night, thus meaning that, once I get off my ass and start evolving, I'll have every non-Legendary Pokemon.

Strangely enough, Elgyem and Baltoy were the two that took the longest to get. Kind of baffling that much better Pokemon were going for nothing, but those two in particular everyone remained stingy with :lol

Participated in a wonder trade and got Gothorita, I traded a lvl 3 pikachu for it. Question though how do i get my friends to show up in the friend list in pokemon y for when i wanna do a wireless trade?

I never could figure that out, myself. It just sort of occurred for me. Really finicky.
