I was in my 20s when Ex-Aid aired. 2016 was still feels like yesterday to me.

I was 25 when it started... where did time go...

Speaking of old, I found a few Gaim Arms Change figures while I was going through the attic, and had them out to mess with. Of course, while I'm cleaning today, a small knock sends Marika tumbling down the back of the stand, and she gets a massive paint gash right through her insigna.

LCS is having a community bazaar this weekend and I just barely squeaked in before the cutoff. Dropped of a lot of stuff I've been unable to offload due to lack of interest and the stupidly low tax threshold for e-commerce.
No idea how much of it all will sell but hey, if it covers enough to get one of the MGs they have stocked I'll consider it a win. Quote:

Bought my first action figure stands. These are Goodsmile Company's The Simple Stage, and things were going pretty well...until two of the connectors snapped inside of the holding thingies. I think the connection was too tight? Dunno, again, first time with an action base. Not sure how snug the connection is supposed to be.
Yeah, this sucks, especially because I spent an hour or so putting my new Ex-Aid Figuarts into cool poses to display. I'm thinking of fixing it by inserting a metal pin, but I'm in need of some second opinions and suggestions. As well some suggestions for alternate stages (besides Tamashii stage). |

Sometimes I hate my life. I got into a big fight with my mom about trans stuff tonight.

Less than a week left until my first Power Morphicon. I am equal parts excited and nervous, haha.

Didn't know exactly where to put this, but anyone remember that sports race thing they did in one of the Kamen Rider Decade shorts? They did it again but with the Reiwa Riders this time.
Surprisingly it has English subtitles. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DnD-sSRNOAg |

I think many will be happy that they haven’t forgotten about Lopo. Although, at the same time, they will be sad that the Valkyrie costume has already been dismantled. |

To my surprise I sold about half the stuff I dropped off, and walked away with $570-ish in store credit. So uh, yeah I'll absolutely be able to pick up an MG and finish up my Dunmeshi and Sailor Moon Eternal Edition volumes. |
I recently started playing Melty Blood: Type Lumina and I really like it. I know about this series other than Arcueid is a vampire. The game is tons of fun and I really love the crazy moves that you can do. I have always been interested Type Moon stuff, but it seems like there is too much content for me to start with.

So I found a set of six Minicons for 12 bucks at the flea market last weekend and I've been regretting the decision all week because I just keep looking at Armada Megatron listings and weeping.

Watching Star Trek Strange New Worlds Series II on DVD and the final episodes of Discovery.
Finished Picard on DVD. Any new shows will be Star Wars and Strange New Worlds on DVD. |

https://i.imgur.com/dvHpzfO.jpg Sadly the horns are as commonly lost as the missiles and Minicon so finding a complete one is neither easy nor cheap :cry Managed to get a good deal on one either way. Now I just need to track down a Cyclonus and Demolishor to round out the Armada Decepticons since I managed to score a complete Takara Super Mode Starscream/Thundercracker a couple of years ago off of YJA for a song. |
My life means more to other people than it does to me.

The pandemic/covid affected me badly mentally and psychologically.

With Type Moon, this is generally the best order to play if you want to understand how the Nasuverse's magic system works:
Garden of Sinners introduces a lot of the verse's magecraft system, Mystic Eyes (which plays a huge role in Tsukihime), the Counter Force (which plays a huge role in Fate), among other things. You can start here if you wish. Witch on the Holy Night expands on mage society's rules (which play a role in Fate/Stay Night), and is a prequel to Tsukihime and Garden of Sinners. Tsukihime introduces the concept of vampires in the Nasuverse, and expands on the Mystic Eyes. Fate/Stay Night introduces the concept of Servants, Counter Guardians, and the whole plot is centred on how other mages try to access the Root (a metaphysical plane that is the goal of the antagonist in Witch of the Holy Night and plays a huge role in Garden of Sinners). That's an extreme oversimplification, but it's a start. |
Or you can just drop in with Carnival Phantasm, have no idea what the hell is going on or who these people are, and laugh at the funny failgirls.

I'm back from PMC. I had really great time.

I am anticipating Inoue and Furuhara (aka Sosuke/Go-On Red who also was there from what I've searched) to talk about their experience on their personal youtube channels soon. Would be fun to hear their thoughts on it. |

Five years in and I still don't believe it, but I've got not problems with being wrong once in a while. |
Sonic the Hedgehog, now a trilogy because they listened to the fans. Well done, Paramount.
