Glad the eye issue was fixed. I was worried, but also thought that as a figure line dedicated to being as accurate to the suits as can be, they would've noticed and fixed the issue. It was probably a set up fluke now that we see the eyes aren't derpy. Honestly happy that i didn’t pull the trigger on the regular SHF Den-o’s.

I'll be honest, I didn't even notice the thing with the eyes.

Seems like it is new tooling so there goes my theory of it being articulated / removable. In this week’s Tamashii Nations blog they mentioned that the prototype is currently undergoing adjustments and posted a CG render were the eyes are closer together. It doesn't need a gimmick, but I'm glad they are aware that this figure does need a bit more fine-tuning.

Anyways, they also go over the Build-display, and what was noteworthy to me is that the "power-up forms" of Build and Rogue are currently being planned for release.

So not only is Genius actually coming, but Prime Rogue also.

No, I don't think that disproves your theory. They do say they're making adjustments and do show that CG model of the eyes closer together; but they don't say anything about the eyes themselves. I think your idea's still up in the air.

Take this with a huge grain of salt, but them specifically talking about preparing Genius and Prime Rogue while not mentioning the others on display does make me optimistic that they are being put up for pre-order in the next few months.

Has anyone else has retired from collecting Figuarts? I will probably get one or two a year now since I can't afford to keep up with them. With them always doing new versions, it is going to be hard for me to always upgrade.

I have swapped over to SO-DO as my figure line because of that and mostl of the stuff I want ending up on P-Bandai.
