All riders from the current series usually get released, at least their base form. Albeit perhaps you must wait a bit longer if there are many riders, like Gaim.

I've got a feeling that Valkyrie is going to be a web exclusive, while Horobi is going to be retail release. I think they choose to release at least one base form rider from each main faction as a retail release, while the rest will be released as web exclusives. :cool:

I'm also waiting for Horobi. My fingers crossed he's gonna get a retail release. Besides being the first purple SHF Kamen Rider with near perfect accuracy & proportion, the design is really spot-on. Dang, the whole Horobi suit is masterpiece to me. :cool: I consider it a perfect release if the Attache Arrow is included. :thumb: The articulation might be little bit limited though, haha. :D

Thouser also starts growing on me. :)

I agree with what Kurona said. These days only base forms get retail release. Perhaps pre-final form and final form of the main rider (example: Gaim) if the series is VERY VERY popular. Alternative forms, upgrade forms, intermediate forms or whatever they're called were usually released as web exclusives.

Horobi's been teased quite a lot alongside Jin. I swear I saw some (official) social media post of upcoming releases that had him at the very end. Regardless, he's totally happening.

Oh wow, I completely missed that. Yeah, this pretty much confirms that Horobi is the next release for Zero-One. We should get more info regarding the how and when later this month I'd say.

Also, does anyone know the chances of them doing an Evolt Black Hole? They already released Evolt and showed Cross-Evol.

I don't really care much if Shining Hopper is webshop but I will be mad if they upped the price by giving it the "Geiz Revive" treatment and giving it swappable Assault Shining Hopper parts. I only want Shining Hopper and find it better-looking than Assault Shining Hopper.

Wow, and here I thought I was alone! I also prefer Shining Hopper to its Assault variant. They absolutely could do an armor swapping version but considering how much has to be exchanged (head, shoulders, chest, forearms & thighs) I think this will be two releases.

With different accessories too, Shining will probably come with the gun and Assault with the axe.

I'd be down for Ikazuchi. Hell I'd take a Dodo Magia too! I feel like in the old days of S.H.Figuarts we would've gotten every single form of the Assassin :lol

Even better in those old days we'd get both forms of Dodo Magia as a two-pack for 40$ XD. Wait, I kinda wonder why they stopped having metal feet in their SHF. That was one of the selling points to me and thought of them as "premium, unreachable" toys as a kid. I think I thought of that when OOO was the most recent figuarts or was it Faiz?


I just hope that Shining Hopper (or any of the other riders) don't clash with my Figma pre-orders. I just pre-ordered Raphtalia and waiting out on Naofumi and honestly hoping that Shining Hopper or Thouser gets announced sooner or later.

FWIW I also find Shining superior to Assault, mainly because I don’t think the blue is necessary or looks good alongside the green. Maybe if the blue sections were also green it’d look better, I dunno.

Had a thought recently. Since we're getting Human Ankh, I hope this means we'll be getting more figures of human characters in the future. I'd absolutely LOVE to have a figure of Ichijou from Kuuga.

That's true. On the other hand, I gladly pay the current prices for the kind of quality sculpts they offer today.

Oh good question, might have been either. Personally I prefer diecast in robot toys for an "authentic" feel and a bit of heft, with plastic figures of people in spandex I don't really need diecast.

This month should be Horobi and then Valkyrie next probably. I'm guessing the Shining Hoppers after and then Thouser. It'll take a few more months at least.

It looks a bit too busy I think. Also, I really like Shining because it was an update with a unique power that wasn't tied to a gimmick toy. Sure he got the Buster rather fast but for his initial appearance he was all about melee combat. Plus the transformation sequence is better. I don't know what that blue-yellow hopper thing Aruto does his best Gaim impression with is supposed to be but it doesn't work for me.

The popularity needs to be there I think, I like Ichijo a lot but I don't think a figure of him would sell all that well.

I've thought about this a lot as well; and I think of all characters, Ichijou would be the one I'd want to get a human figuart made of as well. Other big characters for me are Tsukasa (Decade), Woz (Zi-O), Misora (Build) and Izumi (OOO). All of them have such an important presence to me and I'd love to see them continue the trend :)
