In short, Bank of America's faith in Hasbro and their stock is diminishing! https://markets.businessinsider.com/...america-2023-2 |
Well there is a recession on, after all. Lot less people finding the money for rent, never mind toys
|
All the more reason why Hasbro should really address the Quality Control complaints.
Because if a recession means less people are buying your products, you literally cannot afford to be sloppy. |
Without even reading it, I know that's mostly about Wizards of the Coast. After their botched Magic anniversary and the attempt at a new DnD creative license causing mass unsubscriptions to DND Beyond (As well as competitive growth), it's understandable that their stocks would drop due to the sheer greed on display.

It is such a quiet thing to fall; but far more terrible is to admit it.

Blue Senturion and Space Silver V2

Boxes - The baggies do not work. Accessories bend and are at a risk of getting mixed up. I've gotten two GI Joe closed box products. Geeze louise, Hasbro apparently could make this work. The accessories go into a separate box. Accessories at risk of warping(blades/poles) get taped to a piece of cardboard. The others go in the baggie The main figure doesn't get a baggie. It gets secured to its own box with paper twist ties. ...Why is this not standard? Still doesn't beat have a plastic window(loathe that transformers is open), but I think this mixed with a windowed plastic box would remove the need for a plastic tray. New bodies The drop down hips and the sockets are the problem. The tolerances are too loose. Gi Joe has them but I haven't gotten a figure yet where it's as problematic. I don't think Hasbro has designed them well. Especially trying to maintain the lower torso + waist combo. While I'd love all the rangers to do splits, they should just revert have to the old waist set up or just make ones where the upper thighs have more space to rotate. Blue Senturion has drop down legs but they had to make a whole new body so they clearly fixed the problem as opposed to make the change fit an inadequate design. Necks - I prefer these necks as it's white plastic(or whatever it needs to be) and parts can be replaced easier(well the pegs). But again not designed correctly. No space to move the neck at either balljoint. A solution is remove more material from the neck so the peg can move. The helmet would cover up the remove material Then create more a cavity in the upper torso so the neck and move there are well. Maybe they just wanted to solve fixing the need to paint the necks but again I think that just trying to fit these changes into an inadequate torso is the problem. |
Wait Blue Senturion is out already?

For real, BBTS says they get Blue Senturion in June. But their dates sometimes are all over the place
Sounds like Senturion isn't a wobbly mess though? That's a relief for me |
