Alright, here it goes...
I've made it to Episode 32 of OOO. It advertises a human turning into a Greed and PuToTyra, this should be fun. |

Alright, so, I couldn't help but notice that PuToTyra is made from coins of the Pterodactyl, Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus, the same dinos used to form Abaren Oh. PuToTyra may replace TaJaDor as my favorite combo for that little observation/"connection" to Abaranger alone. :lol
Things are getting really good and intense now, I'm hoping to make it to the end by tonight. |

Plus it's slooooow and full of filler. |
After an impromptu break from Agito I'm now watching the movie, and oh my god it's Rider 1.
http://25.media.tumblr.com/668f2969c...ijdo1_1280.png I figured he'd never touched modern Rider stuff until LGKR, so this was an awesome surprise cameo. And I don't know if this was an intentional bit of writing considering he's the first Rider, but he goes over to our lead hero and tells him "There are things I can no longer do that you must." |
I just finished Kuuga 31. Yeesh, two clip shows so far? That's pushing things a bit.

Alrighty, today I've managed to get through Kamen Rider OOO episodes 35-38, and I intend to make it to the end of the show by tonight.
I'll keep this kind of abridged and spoiler-free since I don't know how many people who browse this thread have seen OOO to the end, and I don't remember how to make the spoiler tag thing. All I will say is that Date's little "arc" here really threw me for a loop and kept me guessing and going back and forth between pity for him, anger at what he's done, then sadness, then relief. Let's just say that the 3rd act of episode 38 especially reminded me of the Burai and Dr Nakadai "events". Really good episodes that left me satisfied and constantly guessing all the way through. I'm especially happy to see what happened to Goto in this episode. Now, let's see what the rest of the episodes have to offer... |

As for the spoilers tag you place the word you want to obscure inside (spoiler)(/spoiler) but using [] instead of (). |

Yeah, I always wondered why Date would need all that money, but I soon started getting ideas when they showed us the news of the bullet in Date's head. Less "noble" than what Goto and Eiji thought it was and eventually led me to believe, until Date confirmed my original suspicions and turned on 'Dr Hatchling', another character who kept me guessing with the "murdered sister" thing. Also, I'm surprised they didn't have Mezul and Gamel more concerned about their hybrid monster...eh, oh well. In short, it was a great arc and very reminiscent of certain Super Sentai moments...I look forward to seeing how much more OOO may surprise me. |
So saw more of Wizard. Man, Pheonix was great, and he was just getting some character. And this Sora dumbass is getting on my nerves. On the plus, Medusa is cute, so theres that, plus Rinko and Shunpeis dumbass antics.
Oh and on episode 26, Shunpeis outfit.... O_O. :lol Dang, I thought we were finally gonna get a new phantom, lolnope! We get apperantly Medusas sister going to become a new Wizard... Did I mention I miss Pheonix and Gremlin is weird as hell? |
Wizard episode 35-
Gremlin's story got dark real fast! Also, his weapons combining into scissors makes a lot more sense now. |

Well...I find it bitter sweet to say that I've gotten to the end of Kamen Rider OOO. I don't know what it is about the Japanese shows that make me feel such true emotions when they come to a close, but it's happened again. I slogged through Mystic Force without a care that it was over, due to it's few redeeming qualities, though, to be fair, I was harsh on it due to my love and respect for Magiranger.
But yeah...Magiranger, I didn't want it to end because of how much fun I was having with it and how much I loved it. Gokaiger left me feeling happy for the cast and wanting more...and now, here we are with OOO. Despite being the villains, there are four characters I found myself feeling genuine sorrow for when they had died. Mezul, but only a bit, considering how she rejected Gamel before death due to how she thought of him as "not enough" for her. Gamel, of course, because even after such a harsh rejection from her, all he's done since we've met him is love and protect Mezul. What really got me was that last treat he left for Mezul's coin...I'm gonna miss those two. It was one thing when they died as a couple, but it really tugged at my heartstrings when Gamel was left behind without Mezul, even for a brief time. Cazali's death at the hands of Maki had me briefly feeling sorry for the guy, but not to the same extent as Mezul and Gamel. And especially not Ankh. Ankh is the one that sticks with me the most out of all of them. He knows he's going to die and yet lends his medal to Eiji, knowing that this will mean the end for him. That's another bonus from all of this. I really appreciate how it wasn't Ratortah that was used to save the world, it wasn't even TaToBa or PuToTyra. It was my personal and now cemented favorite combo, TaJaDor that was used to put an end to Maki's plans and save the world. Letting Eiji use TaJaDor one last time really shows how far Ankh came before his death. In the beginning, all he cared about were getting cell medals and his own personal medals back, not about humanity, and barely even about Eiji or his human host. But now, he's here, sacrificing himself by using his damaged medal to save humanity. I could go on longer about this, but I fear that I might bore people with my rambling. I had one hell of a run with OOO...I definitely made the right call in starting with OOO for my first Kamen Rider season. I hate to see it end, but now I can look forward to new beginnings with Kamen Rider W. I'll probably post about Episode 1 sometime in the afternoon. |
