Bandai pumping out model kit releases here and there of various Gunpla kits and Ultramen Figure-rise Standards and Den-O.

Me: waiting for new SHF releases since Sunday where a blog should've come out.

Can't blame them tho. Part of me thinks it was because NCov got their staff to take the day off tho.

Ryuki's gimmick is the most likely since SS Decade can do the same with the cards IIRC.

Idk if Gaim-present warrants an SS though, it seems that ever since Gaim they have been trying to make sure the 'entry' line of main Riders are good enough. Sure a lot of them aren't perfect like how Drive's shoulders limits his articulation a bit. Or at the very least, figures from Ex-Aid onwards are good enough to stand alongside Seihous.

The only one I can see if Ghost due to the parka. I mean I heard that Ghost have better articulation than Drive, but the plastic parkas looked very awkward at times.

I'll admit I'm very confused whenever someone suggests Gaim of all lines to be getting Seihou renewals. It was and still is one of the most universally-loved Figuarts lines with technique and proportion advancements that are still being used today; on top of a good price range, a lack of exclusives and a wealth of accessories down to even Bravo's wine glass.

Ghost I can kind of understand due to those figures having some issues to do with the hoodies iirc, but every other relatively recent Rider figuarts after Wizard just doesn't need the treatment.

I know it's not likely, since I don't think Tamashii has ever done it before, but I hope if Ghost ever gets a Seihou, he comes with a wirecloth hoodie/parka instead of a plastic one. Or at the very least two different cloaks; One straight down, and another flowing for action poses.

LEGIT, I didn't even think of the rubber-like jackets of the SHF figures to be a bad idea. It was just the execution that killed it. The sleeves were fused to the shoulder instead of the actual jacket which killed any sort of shoulder outward movement. And then the jacket body is holding the entire body which paralyzed the figures completely. It baffled me when HASBRO did a better job at a rubber-like jacket than Bandai!

In any case, TARAI_YOU made a tutorial (albeit a long one) on how to basically make a poseable Parka jacket. I don't have the skills nor the SHFs to do it but someone might be able to do it in this forum.

The guy's great and has plenty of good stuff on his channel. Like, repositioning SHF hands, fixing broken shoulder armors or as how he sees it improving them, remodelling several SHFs, and even creating custom final forms! He lowkey looks cute too. No homo.

So, apparently we're getting SHF Kamen Rider reissues called: Best Selection. The only one revealed so far is Build. I'm guessing we'll get Ex-Aid, Drive, and Gaim as well. Apparently, the gimmick of this line is they're at an affordable price of 3500Y (tho, I believe that's for Build only.)

While this would be great, I already have Figure-Rise Build and I'm saving money for Zero-One SHFs. Tho, I do hope this means that Build's SHF price goes down. Will get Ex-Aid tho if he shows up in this line.

Yay,more useless reissues of stuff that is EASILY available. Reissue fever,just like their Monster Arts(main reason I dropped the overpriced line) brand....Le Sigh

Yeah, they're easily available but I won't exactly pay 60$ for Build.

Despite the previous rerelease, both RabbitTanks remain fairly expensive on the aftermarket. The demand is there and it is not all that easily available, it's not a bad move.

Do wish they'd rerelease some Seihous sometime though, the prices for some of those like Hibiki, Kuuga and Kabuto are legitimately nuts. Agito too but I got that one the first go around at least. Though hopefully if they did they wouldn't bother with the less accessories stuff.

And either way, releases for KR remain constant, it's not like rereleases are supplanting the active lines like I understand they more or less did for SHMA.
