I still haven't seen Decade but I think this musical is now on the required watching list when I get around to it...

In retrospect it's worth a watch despite being a show that was created to fill the void while Bandai and Toei was restructuring Kamen Rider as a late summer/early fall show back in 2009 so it wouldn't have to compete with Super Sentai.

But Toei still should have released a Kamen Rider G show instead.

G was a one-shot crossover with the variety show that SMAP was hosting at the time on TV Asahi. I believe they had a special segment where each member got to work on a pet project and member Goro Inagaki chose a Kamen Rider one-shot show.

So Takeru Sato who played Ryotaro and Wakana Matsumoto who played Airi in Den-O are reuniting in the live action Cells at Work movie. Sato will be playing White Blood Cell and Matsumoto will be playing Macrophage.

Sato's fight choreo from the teaser has me wondering if they hired the choreographer from the live action Rurouni Kenshin movies. It feels familiar.

This is true! Takahito Ouchі was in charge of staging the fights, having previously worked on Rurouni Kenshin.

Yeah, the press in Japan seems to highlight that Ouchi is working on the movie.

Just remembered this thread, thought I'd drop it here. Anyone remember that sports race thing in one of Decade's shorts? They recreated it with the Reiwa Riders. It's absolutely hilarious, recommend watching it if you have five minutes to spare.

Also, this has English subtitles, surprisingly enough.
