Given that the book like most Books that launched with DC You sold terribly I wouldnt be surprised to see it go.

And Rebirth sounds a lot like they are trying to get the books back to Pre-Flashpoint status quo without having to reboot. So something like the new Doc Fate is probably one of the first things that will be removed.

I really want to get excited over this because I loved the JL animated movies a ton.
But I don't think Snyder will do a very good job at all...
Dull, bleak, dark, and violent with a ton of mindless symbolism and a weak plot.
I bet GL is being left out because he's too snarky for Snyder.

I figured out the perfect counter for the DCCU. If you think of the movies as being on Earth 3, it all makes sense.

Except then Clark would be punching Zod through buildings instead of the other way around, and would have left his waitress co-worker to be harassed (probably even be the first to harass her).

Also he would have just let those kids drown, instead of saving them anyway because he's Superman.

This is almost certainly the exact direction they wanted to take things and absolutely, postiively in no way connected to "Deadpool" being a surprise box-office hit.

1. There is no reason Batman nor Superman should be rated R at all. Batman might have some dark things in it, but none of it is bad enough for R.

2. It's funny how they always talk about these director cuts, but then never actually release them. They did the same thing with The Incredible Hulk, Avengers 2, Godzilla, etc.

That was a fantastic episode. I love the comment about Constantine currently being in Hell. Vixen was pretty awesome too and I hope we see more of her be it in the next season or Legends of Tomorrow. The lady they got to do her did a pretty nice job. Wish they would actually air that animated stuff on TV before this episode though to keep those of us that don't want to watch it on their app in the loop. There is nothing worse than being forced to watch something on a specific device because the company wants to be douchebags.

I will say that it seemed a little anti-climatic to just defeat Darhk that easily. It's kind of like Brick all over again, but at least everyone was well written this time around.

Felicity being pissed makes sense. Just look at the crossover episode and the way she reacted. Here she at least had time to process everything. They'll be back together by the end though.

Overall, a fantastic episode and a great one to leave off for a month long break with.

Man, I'm bummed that they didn't put Vixen in Legends of Tomorrow

It feels like she would've fit in perfectly with that show.
