Kiva 8

What The Hell. Apparently when you give your soul to five butlers they turn into some giant Mecha-Chandillier.. Who knew? Still very awesome, especially seeing Castle Dran do more than just show up and eat a Fangire.
And the episode was good.. But then I saw the previews. Ixa: Fist On! Hell's yes!

Episode 9 of Kiva down. And I'm starting to get a hang of this series. So Wolfboy, Fishguts, and BigFist aren't Fangire's.. But people who's races were destroyed by the Fangire.. THE PLOT THICKENS LIKE MASTER'S COFFEE!

And IXA! .. For all of forty seconds. Onore....

So why don't people like Kiva again? :eyebrow

Episode 10 down and I'm loving this series. IXA is Bad Ass, even Nago is a bit of a douche. I say bit but what I mean is the man makes douches look like saints.
And I felt sorry for Frogire. To think, better earphones and he wouldn't have attacked anybody ever. Also felt bad for Wataru.. But atleast he learned something about his Father this episode.

Kiva starts nicely, but by the 30's it becomes a mess imo, and character development simply becomes nonsensical after a while.

Then again there are also tons of people who like it.

I just found it fumbling too much. Otoya became a total bore once he started shacking up with the Fangire Queen, Nago lost all character once Kengo left, Wataru's character took a complete 180, and the overall story just wasn't very gripping after a certain point.

I never found Kiva to be as terrible as others, but I did find it to be really lacking. Some nice designs won't carry a show for me.

Well I'm enjoying it :lol

Wizard 34- Finally getting backstory for Gremlin, but who cares for this episode. I literally laughed my ass off when Haruto stops Rinko, connects to get the Doughnut, then says "Okay, we're good" :lol

So far caught up to Wizard 47 and Holy crap it's getting good!

Kiva 11 - Reasons why Nago is a Jerk, is what this episode should've been called. He sent his father to prison over a small clerical error, and raves about how Kiva is humanity's enemy. He even belittles Megumi. Who's not exactly the best person but atleast she has a soul.. Not sure Nago does.
But it's good seeing Spider Fangire again. As creepy as that dork is he's one of the better Fangire's. And who knew Shizuka-Girl could play drums :lol

Kiva 12 - Or: Nago Deserved That. The Baron Stick though was something to behold, I love what it did to his Bike. Even though I still don't like CG motorcycle scenes in KR, any KR. It just never looks right especially when you have it along with a real bike like it did in that scene.
Nago deserved that. I would've called on the Hammer though and really knocked him down, but hopefully that comes later.
You have to feel sorry for Yuri in this. Her mother creates IXA, dies at the hands of a Fangire, she rushes in.. but her mom's hand shatters before she gets there. And now Jirou is using IXA himself. But atleast at the end he explained why, sort of.
Next episode though! Otoya and IXA!

Kiva 13 - And now the plot thickens. And not the Fangire going after talented people. Every season there's a MotW that tricks talented people, that's nothing new. I meant Jirou v Otaya. Now there's a fight I want to see continue.
But what's comng next is what I'm looking forward to. Hammer Man >D

If it's any consolation, Nago does mellow (primarily because he has very little in the way of consistent characterization). He's also nowhere near as big of a douche as Kusaka, Kiriya, Hojou, or any of the other wannabe Gai Yukis that fill Inoue's post-Jetman shows.

He's such a douche >_< Like.. King Douche of the Douchikin People! Why are all Inoue's shows like that, where one character is always a massive jerk?

Honestly I prefer the original Nago to the lighthearted Nago that he becomes in the later episodes.

Toshiki Inoue- The writer my boyfriends hates with a passion. At least his newer works. xD

The only Inoue-thing I've seen so far is the OOO-part of Movie Taisen Core and... if Kiva is like that, I know why people don't like it xD

I don't know. I think Douche-Nago needs beaten down a little more. Like with a Dogga Hammer upside the head.

I'd take douche Nago over whatever the hell he becomes in the last 3rd of the series...

It's an easy source for interpersonal conflict. I also think that he just saw how popular Gai was in Jetman and decided to keep making bigger and bigger a-holes, finally peaking with Kusaka.

Decided to download OOO Wonderful because I have an odd desire to watch that movie.

I wonder why. :p

The Wonderful movie ist nice. It wasn't the best thing I've ever seen, but it sure made you feel all fuzzy inside <3

OOO Wonderful isn't the best Rider movie, but it's not terribad like some others *Looks towards All Riders Vs. Dai Shocker*

I have yet to prepare to actually watch that.
Also, the worst OOO movie was Movie Taisen Core- at least the part that was written by Inoue... >,>

Message for W was killer. It deserved it's own full-length movie.

Wizard 36-

I dont know why but I cant really take more of Shunpei and Rinkos craziness. It was funny in the background, but now as a focus episode... Eh. Rinko I can stand, somewhat. But Shunpei is just to crazy.

I don't know, The Next was really bad, too. And then there's Shin.

I actually found myself enjoying Shin despite how often it's forgotten. Hell I forget him myself most days :lol But I'd still love to owna figure of Shin at some point.

I wouldn't be against a Shin figure, but that'd certainly be an odd release.

So Wizard 37-

The weird episode that was 36 got closure, so Rinko and Shunpei saved the day, Haruto didnt do crap all arc. Nitou got to eat, so we're good. :lol

Does anyone want to marathon Kiva through October?

I can guarantee you he'll be the last main Rider to get a Figuart.*

*Unless it's Hibiki.
