No amount of nostalgia/halloween love would convince me to rewatch Kiva in one month, two maybe, but one is crazy.

I watched Blade in two weeks, but Kiva is no Blade. :p

Besides I have to watch Wizard, Gosei, Geki and Mebius... man that escalated quickly.

Ginga has only aired 6 episodes so far, you can get it from overtime or watch it on gooddrama or unkamenwriter.

In the end, Geki and Blade are the only series you need to watch.

Kiva Concerto 15 - Rook has got to be the most beautiful Fangire I've seen yet, the only one that comes close is Spider. The Fangire's in general are all beautiful. I love the Stained Glass motif running through them all.
That being said he's also a complete and utter bastard and deserves whatever Kiva, Jirou, and IXA give him.
One thing I will say is that Destiny's Play, which is IXA's theme and I think I got those both right, is.. it's a good song. I love it. It just doesn't fit well during a battle scene. PuTuTyra, Cosmic Mind, Missing Piece, those fit a battle scene. Destiny's .. not so much.

And Wataru really needs to stop making friends. They usually always end up becoming Fangire's o_o

You know. For a womanizing Goof that is somehow a famous Musician despite only knowing one song.. Otoya is a good guy. Just a shame he keeps getting blocked by Jirou every time he tries for Yuri.
Speaking of. I can't wait to learn more about what promise Jirou and the others made Otoya regarding Wataru.

I love the Otoya/Jirou rivalry. It gets really interesting what happens down the line.

Destiny's Play is the default ending of Kiva, if anything it is one of Wataru's themes. IXA's is "Individual-System", Nago's is "Fight for justice" even the Wonderful Blue Sky Organization gets a theme.

This show is loaded with music.

Watched more Kuuga episodes 22 and 23, I love seeing Pegasus and Titan form again, I just love all of Kuuga's forms so far. Liking the storyline with Yuusuke feeling bad about the Grongi and aches or whatever he has been going through. I wish TVNihon finished subbing it because I miss what the Grongi say in their language.

Also watched 24 and 25 of Faiz, and very interesting seeing where the Ryuusei school is and great to see Kaidou and the guy who played Punch Hopper manage to take the belts in something that reminded me of Bulk and Skull. I really like Takumi and Masato and their craziness/courage for standing up against the Lucky Clover without their powers. I also love Yuuki when he goes Horse Orphenoch, I think my favorite looking one of them. I can't wait for more.

Tetra Fang is also Soji Keto's band, so Wataru is singing lots of the songs. Actually they all sing so many of the songs from it. I think one of the Ixa themes is sung by 4 of the users.

I have the most songs from Kiva on my music player.

That's actually my main gripe with Kiva's songs, don't misunderstand me I love Tetra-Fang, but it would have been nice to have more singers, I'm still dissapointed that the closest Saga's actor got to his own song was a duo...

Decade episode 21:

It was pretty interesting. The backstory of DiEnd's world is interesting as well, if a bit dark for my tastes. Poor Yuusuke :(.The only thing that bothered me this episode was Tsukasa. What seemed to bother Matrix, in regards to Tsukasa, was that he's portrayed as perfect, yet he faces challenges like a normal human (or something to that effect, sorry if I'm misremembeting it, Matrix). I, however, have a different issue with Tsukasa. If anyone here has seen Persona 4: The Animation, you'll be familiar with the way they treat the main protagonist of the game (Yu Narukami), it seems like the writers of Decade are treating tsukasa like a "blank slate" character, and it works for Yu, who was more or less a silent protagonist in the game, but for a main Rider who wasn't based off of anything else...it doesn't work.

The problem with a blank slate character as a main protagonist is that the apparent character flaws only exist when they need them to cause some sort of conflict. Otherwise, the character is just there.
The problem with Tsukasa is that he's constantly portrayed at Tendou levels of dickery with half the charisma and none of the character. It tries to make him a blank slate, but in doing so, he has all of the skills with none of the flaws, adding that his personality trait is "Absolute douche," it's hard for me to side with or like Tsukasa.

I think you put it a lot better than I did. :lol

Soji-Kun can sing as much as he likes :lol That's one thing I love about Kiva. That show has some excellent music.

Yeah the guy is crazy talented, and the music is lovely, I hope one of these days we get a soundtrack this good in a Rider show.

So after a break for a few days watching more Wizard- 38- FINALLY some backstory on Haruto, I actually like this episodes, never cared much for soccer, but at least Haruto has a past. Oh and this Naomi chick with Kazuya, yea, shes something, getting REALLY pissed at your boyfriends best friend when he accidently tripped over a kick, that kinda crap happens all the time. Its called life. Dont overreact! I dont know why, but I hate it when they make characters like that. :lol

Oh and my thoughts on Blade for the week-

So it all gets resolved yay! And the White Wizard shows up again. Dang this guy is cool. But yea, he shows up at the end, and Kazuya is just forgotten about :lol

More Kiva!

Yes, she can't use IXA. Yes Otoya Wataru was hillarious. But none of that matters... Checkmate Four Queen is Bad Freaking Ass. She was on screen for all of two minutes and.. That woman just kicks ass.

Just finished Agito ep4. It's already better than the entire run of Kuuga. Agito series seems almost like an improved reboot of Kuuga. I like most of the characters, though the jury is still out on Shouichi. It took me a while to realize that Mana = Naomi. I was wondering why she looked so familiar. Mana, Sumiko, and Makoto are my favorite characters so far. The kid is kind of annoying, but most kids are. The monsters/unidentified lifeforms are looking pretty good so far. The snapping turtle from episode 4 was neat.

Also, I'm glad to be back to a multiple Rider series.

I'll probably start Blade for the LWW tomorrow.

Edit: Agito's opening theme is pretty awful, though, to be honest.

I just watched a slew of episodes.. so let's see. Jirou tried fiance'ing Yuri, I finally saw where people get the picture for that Otoya smiling meme. Jirou is kind of a dick. The Queen punishes Fangire. And Wataru has a giiiiiiiirlfriend :lol

Kiva is so amazing, brings back memories of what I enjoyed from the series.

Watched 24 and 25 of Kuuga and love seeing the Rising Titan form and the Rising Pegasus form (even for a second lol). I just love seeing the character interact and worry about Yusuke. Also like his teacher contacting him to help out just so many fun and good characters in this series. I also fucking hate the Grongi, Kuuga needs to destroy more of them. Like the mystery of them too.

Pegasus was the one form I liked out of Kuuga's forms but the Rising version sucked, it basically made no changes, minus the fact that he got a machine gun that missed every shot minus one, so it made him look even worse. I mean why'd he even need this shit? The whole point of Pegasus was it was so powerful, all he needed was a single shot, grr.

Then again, pretty much all the Rising forms were pointless and or shit, but most of the time I didn't care because the base version sucked in the first place. Actually, I liked Rising Dragon because Dragon's weapon being a pole was stupid, so it was cool for him to get a proper weapon, it was like one of the only Rising Forms that seemed like a logical and actual evolution on the base one.

Episode 24. So Much Happened and so much I don't want to give away in case people want to start watching Kiva. Which you should. So I'll say this... Emporer Kiva, despite my fantastic spelling mistakes, is.. it's just beautiful. And I love Wake Up Fever!

Emperor is probably my least liked form of Kiva (except for DoGaBaKi) but I can't deny, that thing is gorgeous.

I'm not a huge fan. Mostly because I think the shade of yellow doesn't work - it's too bright to look properly like metal.

Gold is always tricky, but as far as Emperor is concerned, I think they managed to pull it off.

The main problem I have with it it's over exposure, it just too showy to be Kiva's main form...

It screams: look at me! look at me!
Which is good in moderate quantities, but not all the time.
