I actually couldn't stand the over the top goofiness that Fourze brought to the table. By the end of it I was happy to see the show be over. Outside a few arcs I found it to be overbearingly "fun". The characters are somewhat memorable though Gentaro is grating. And Wizard for the majority of the series seems to have been pretty dull by comparison. Gaimu appears to have struck more of a balance between the 2. So maybe we can get back to the awesomeness of OOO with this one.

I will admit that I thought the second half of Fourze was awful, it was like they hadn't planned out their series at all which makes no sense but it wasn't just that, it was the way all the characters suddenly left their depth and growth from the first half of the series and became cardboard cut outs of themselves.
Still the first half for me is near flawless. |

After all the kyoryugers are regular people with a samba motif, while the characters here are street dancers, and make part of dance crews. Whether that is good or not, I don't know. |
Apparently Griton's default seed is Acorn, followed by Pinecone and Durian.

GEN UROBUCHI Having come all this way just to see what Urobutcher's going to do with a kid's show, I can assure you that nothing he writes can ever be kid-friendly. Like, ever. I mean he can try to be good again, but at the very least he'll end up producing something similar to Digimon Tamers (a dark kid's show). This is the guy who's written really really screwed up stuff like Saya no Uta and Fate/Zero, and even Madoka Magica (something that appeared to be an ordinary magical girl anime at first) is twisted. Even if this show appears fluffy on the outside, with fruits and fairly ridiculous elements such as dancing, if you look at the plot, the darker elements are all there just waiting to be touched upon. Even the transformation sequence itself might have some kind of Madoka-esque plot twist. This is definitely intentional, and there is definitely something darker going on in the background. It'll probably start out normally like your average Kamen Rider show, but then once the plot starts rolling and things start unfolding, you'll all see the truth - Urobutcher cannot change. That's why instead of worrying about how kid-friendly it's going to be, you should hope that Gen doesn't traumatize the young 'uns...too much~ After reading this whole thread, it seems that a lot of people who still don't know who Gen Urobuchi is. Well, soon enough, you'll all learn his grimdark glory ^^ |
Well, Kirei convinced me :lol
