No one got greedy. You expected a scenario based on a past history of their exclusives not selling out at the show. Well they sold out at SDCC this year. On the 2nd day of the show. There was never going to be a release of this figure for it's original retail online after that. BBTS is pricing based on their buyer markup. They paid retail plus any shipping or middleman costs associated with the item, frankly their prices for it weren't terrible. But their pre-order is long sold out for it. $119.99 is a good price at this point. That figure will only be going up from this point.

I paid $75 for mine through a middleman at the show and was more than happy to based on the near $200 it sells for now. $50 is a magical pipe dream at this point.

Seeing the prices it goes for now I'm glad I picked mine up at the show.

Funny enough the guy had told the line they sold out, but I wanted to pick up Gohan anyway and sure enough they had a few Gokus left :D

That's cool, but it is a repaint, so it isn't worth more than retail to me.

How did they sell out on the second day of the show though? People said they had more stock on the third day.

Nice find. That's one of the packs that I hope to find. I'm torn over the dino charger packs. I do like them over the key packs, but I really don't want to have doubles of chargers that have/will come with the zords. On the other hand, they have incentivized multiple purchases with inclusion of the "regular" chargers for the Ptera Charge and T-rex and the alternate skeletal stickers for the secondary chargers.

All of the SDCC DBZ figuarts have been repaints up until this point.


And yeah, they had a certain number of figures being sold for each day, but I could imagine they ran out quickly each day.

It's DBZ. A lot of people collect DBZ figuarts, both causal and hardcore fans want to get them. Going from what I've been told by Bluefin last Thursday is that they ran out of stock. Once it's gone, it's gone.
