Because the work "kamen" is NOT exactly the same was the English word mask. It's its closest equivilant, but like other similar works across languages, is not exactly the same.

From some research I just did, I found that while the word is usually translated "mask" it is sometimes translated "disguise." Someone who actually speaks Japanese can correct me, but it seems to be a much broader term than the English term and indicates anything used to cover the face as a disguise, which would include a helmet, if used in such a manner.

Thus he's a kamen rider, but not truly a masked one.

I mean, if you break down the word 仮面 into its components, it more or less means "assumed face", so I don't think it matters at all how much more of the head beyond that is being covered.

What I'm more confused about here is the idea that the English word "mask" doesn't work like that? Like, it can be used a verb (unlike kamen, which is specifically a noun) that just means to disguise or conceal something, so I'm not really seeing how it's any less broad.

I'm not some language expert, granted, but I'm pretty sure both of these words actually do work almost exactly the same way.

You are correct that it can be used in a similar broad sense, but it also refers to very specific type of face covering and that is what people seem to be getting hung up on instead of excepting that it just means mask in a very broad sense.

So apparently the grunts in Zero One are called "Trilobite Magia", and then I realised its because they have a trilobite on their face. That's awesome.

Kamen Rider Zi-O's Decade Form gives Zi-O the power of other Riders' upgrade forms right? What if Zi-O got his hands on a second Zi-O Ridewatch and inserted it into the Decade Ridewatch? There won't be any physical changes to the suit, right?

Just something I realised, and I said this might be bending the rules a bit because it's pretty much unconfirmed in the show itself.

The rule... kind of seems to be "most powerful pre-final form, unless there's issues". I can see reasons they wouldn't have gone with Mighty Maximum X and Rabbitrabbit/TankTank, but not much of a reason that was preventing them from going with Toucon over Grateful; so I'm going with that.

In which case, they'd probably go with Trinity, which is a weird thing to think about.

I'm not sure if it's just me, but I think there's, like, a molded jaw/mouth line on Kamen Rider Amazon Neo's head. Can't exactly confirm this by myself. Those red lines are disorienting me. Can someone please take a closer look?

It's definitely there. If I remember correctly, he opens his mouth when he goes into his true amazon form

That's a mouth yes, because Neo is basically a blue Amazon Alpha wearing armor. You can even see the red compound eyes underneath the visor.
