I want them, plus Ganondorf, Falco, Meta-Knight, and Wolf. They were some of my all time favorites to play.

I want Meta Knight to be toned down so fighting him wouldn't be as much BS.
That aside, I think Wolf would be the only one of those that I'd be fine with them releasing.

And here I am who thinks that if ANY Brawl character had to be cut, Wolf would by far be my top priority. Star Fox doesn't deserve 3 characters (imo) over Metroid especially considering that he's another variation of Fox's move-set. Three pushed it for me.

Ganondorf needs a BIG overhaul too. He definitely deserves a place but he needs to actually fight like Ganondorf. There's like 20 games to choose from, there's no reason just to have given him variations of Captain Falcon even in Brawl. I don't have high hopes for that though considering Toon Link is once again a clone even though there's no reason for him to be. "Toon Link" has so many unique items I think its awful that they just slapped him with the same move-set as normal Link, especially on a Wii U title.

My priorities for returning are Ivysaur (but sadly it wont happen), Squirtle (again, not gonna happen...), Jigglypuff, Captain Falcon, Ness/Lucas, Ice Climbers, Meta Knight, Wario, Ganondorf and Snake. Falco and Wolf are acceptable losses to me, although I wouldn't mind one getting in again, just I'd be saddened if Wolf returns over the far more unique (and memorable) options. I'd like Mewtwo to return too, but I think that's hoping for too much.

Newcomers, beyond the leaked three still to come (none of which I personally care for, but I know others do so I'm cool with them being in here) is Ridley! And in fantasy world Birdo is by far my #1 choice! Also in fantasy, it would be nice if they surprised us and upgraded Ivysaur and Squirtle to Venusaur and Blastoise instead of once again focusing on the dragon that is quickly becoming more over-exposed then Pikachu.

Still, I'm not going to be suprised if the roster goes downhill from here. I remember when the 30 character roster for Mario Kart 8 was leaked and everyone thought "Well obviously Mii isn't counted there and the roster so far isn't good enough for a Wii U game and there's no way there's only 3 more reveals so I think there'll be an extra 5 characters!" and then it ended with "There ARE only 30, Mii IS counted as one of the 3 un-revealed and the other 2 are the worst options Mario Kart has ever included! Baby Rosalina and Pink Gold Peach! Suprise! We cut 9 characters! Yaaaay!".... Nintendo rosters have burned me before!

I am apathetic to Pac-Man. I think he's a "meh" addition but I was already prepared for the reveal so there wasn't nearly as much disappointment as there would've been if I didn't know he was coming, it gave me a chance to appreciate him more. Honestly Villager is the only Newcomer that's "wowed" me and the rest I've been "meh" on except for Rosalina who got a solid "huh, that's kind of cool".

Ridley though. Come on Nintendo. All will be forgiven for cutting Ivysaur just give us the damn Pterodactyl!

If they kept the rest of Pokemon Trainer's team, I would prefer if they didn't evolve them. I know, it prevents them from using their Final Smash as Mega Evos, but I liked the balanced Ivysaur and fast Squirtle over having 2 more tanks...

Wolf I'd be fine with dropping, I don't care enough about Falco as I've never been a big Star Fox guy (Though I do agree that Krystal with that stick thing would be more interesting than another Fox copy-paste if they did go with another Star Fox character), and I am still going to keep my fingers crossed for Ridley, because Ridley is awesome and Metroid needs a bit of good news after Other M and turning Dark Samus into an assist trophy (I'm actually a little bummed. Before you call it (Her?) a Samus clone, there's a lot they could do with Dark Samus to prevent it from being just Samus's black/dark blue color).

I'm rather optimistic towards the new characters as Pac-Man is pretty nice and Palutena looks fun. So far, the only new addition I wasn't a fan of was the Villager, and it was less that I didn't like him and more that I was just underwhelmed, so Smash hasn't burned me yet.

I'm fairly certain Meta Knight, Wario, C. Falcon, Ness, and Jigglypuff will return, but I also want Snake to come back.
And I would like Ganondorf to make a comeback, but for the love of god, give him his sword. You can keep the Warlock Punch, that's fine, but just let him have his blade...
