That reminds me of a very unpopular opinion of sorts I have in regarding Abare Killer from Abaranger that I have in my head for quite a while ever since I finished the series and that is I don't honestly don't think Abare Killer should be considered as the show's sixth ranger especially since by the time he did turn good and joined the team, while a very awesome moment in of itself, it's way too damn late. At best, I find him to be more of an extra ranger on par with Wolzard Fire, Rio, and Mele than anything else. Plus, there are other characters in Sentai I find to be more of a sixth ranger than him like Black Knight Hyuuga from Gingaman and GekiViolet as well as GekiChopper from, well, Gekiranger. At least his Power Rangers counterpart is a more straight forward sixth ranger and that Dino Thunder even went the extra mile when they clearly didn't even have to by having the villains create an evil clone of said ranger and not have him be a one-and-done antagonist for the rangers to fight against which is a very good way to still utilize plenty of action footage of Abare Killer still being very much a villain while the DT White Ranger managed to turn good and being able to redeem himself. This, in turn, have the season be able to kill birds with one stone. Personally, I think this is one of several cases where Power Rangers was able to one-up Super Sentai.

Alright, I'm trying to phrase this vaguely enough that hopefully it won't pick an actual fight with anyone:

I would like for Mei to become the new Espada, but certain parts of this fandom have been so obnoxious about that possibility (both for and against it) that I'm dreading how they'll react if it actually comes true.

I like the simplicity of it. It's just the Zero One suit, but the extra red and silver add these nice little pops of extra color that make them stand out more. Compared to how busy some of the show's later suits got it stands out by how straightforward it is.

I don't think there's actually a single new color Zero-Two adds? The red and silver were already accents on Rising Hopper. The increased prominence of the red is likely because it's considered a heroic color, and the huge influx of silver allows for a layered look to the armor, giving the impression it's tougher without making the suit any bulkier and ruining the streamlined aesthetic.

I think Zero-Two is every bit as considered and smart a design as Rising Hopper itself was, personally, but of course, this is a thread for unpopular opinions, so I won't tell you you're wrong to not like it. I mean, Flaming Tiger might actually be my favorite Zero-One suit over both of them, so what do I know, right? :lol

Also I guess I never noticed silver on rising, and the red was more part of the basesuit aside from the eyes.

I mean hey, if we're going for those; I seem to be the only Flying Falcon fan and I actually like it a little more than Rising Hopper!

Wizard is the better version of Fourze.

I wish Zero-One had another insect form apart from the base grasshopper.

But we got Lightning Hornet which is among my favorites. Wish we got to see it more. It feels like it fit Yua's fighting style very well.
