Anyone know if the Premium Bandai Ressha Sentai Rainbow Line Route set is still due out this month? I can't seem to find a solid date for it anywhere.

Hey there. Just curious, what exactly are the differences between the Candy Toy, Gashapon/Capsule & SG (whatever those are) Ressha?

Aside from minor paint details and construction (how it's molded, assembled etc), only the DX can actually transform and snap onto ToQOh, BuildDaoOh's or Diesel Oh's hands.

The Candy/Gash versions can
-- Form a train (just hook them together)
-- Create the proper sounds in the wrist changer
-- Be placed on TeiOh to form ToQ Rainbow (since they just slide on like they do in the changer).

Since the stupid search function doesn't EVER wanna work on my mobiles I have to ask in this post; is there any way to combine Build Dai-Oh with ToQ-Oh without Diesel, Tank & Car Carrier? From reviews I've seen I doubt it's possible but I wanted to ask just incase someone managed to pull it off.

So based on what Bandai Namco announced ToQGer is pretty much considered a big hit. It did worse than Gokaiger and Kyoryuger but earned more than other hit toylines like Shinkenger and Go-Onger.

So is that good for ToQger or bad? The goal is to always surpass the previous year, but they did better than a few good shows.

Also, does anyone know usually when changers sell out on amiami? I want to get the ToQ Changer, but I want to wait until December so it will ship with that month's order. At the same time, I don't want to miss out and have to hunt around for it (which can get expensive).

Its good. It did slightly less than the overly successful Kyoryuger but like I mentioned it did more than other hit toylines like Shinkenger and Go-Onger. It wasnt a break through but for Bandai its still considered very successful in its market.

I hit up that sale too! I got a ToQ Changer for about $15 or $16 bucks before shipping and I got 300 free points for creating a new account through them. I felt really good about the deal.

Keep an eye on sites like Mandarake and Jungle. I've seen ToQ-Oh pop up for as low as ¥3,000 or ¥4,000 with the brace. Considering the conversion rate right now, that's practically a steal.

What is a good keyword to get the toqger stuff to pop up on mandarake? there are a few items im trying to get a hold of

I just use the series title and sift through: 烈車戦隊トッキュウジャー. That's generally how I look for most things at Mandarake. :D

There's no need to get Chogokin ToQ-Oh if you have the original, but it is nice.

Bit of an old thread, but I managed to score a Tei-Oh for ¥2,000 on Mandarake. I hadn't planned on buying one, but for that price I figured 'What the heck?'. Unfortunately I got slammed on the shipping, since SAL wasn't an option. So I, at least, am still in for ToQger loot. :lol

I've searched through this thread and haven't found much but a passing reference to the possibility of ToQGer Figuarts figures.

I understand there are some vinyl figures out there, and the 1, 2, and 4 figures. However, nothing is better than Figuarts.

So does anyone have any insight into this? Is there someone I can write to help show interest?

They will probably never happen.

Tamashii nations said at SDCC that Ninninger figuarts will only be made if the show is popular enough. Same goes for ToQGer.

Honestly, I doubt we'll ever see them. I want them so bad I can taste it, but Sentai Figuarts don't seem to be high volume sellers. Even the Reds seem to end up shelf warmers and dirt cheap on the secondary market. From a business perspective I can see why they don't do more of them, but as a fan it makes me quite sad. Granted, this is all based on my limited understanding, so if I'm wrong someone will hopefully be along to correct me.

Okay, so what constitutes "popular"? Because looking at the ratings and earnings, it seems that ToQGer was a success. When I compare ToQGer ratings to Kyoryuger, they are almost identical. Figuarts has all six main characters from that show, and they even have Go-Buster Figuarts, and that show had higher ratings than both.

I'm not trying to argue or put anyone down, just trying to understand what goes into this decision and what cultural differences I may not understand being from the U.S.

I don't know how successful Toqger was, but my guess is that the reason Kyoryuger got such an extensive lineup was probably because Kyoryuger toy sales were considerably successful. Its toy success was enough for Saban to skip adapting Go-busters and move straight to Power Rangers Dino Charge.

As for Go-busters, it was done during a time when Sentai Figuarts were still a big thing. The Gokaiger figuarts the year before seemed to have sold well enough, so Bandai made a gamble that Go-busters would do well. I don't think it performed as well as they wanted.

This is all just conjecture, and my hypotheses.
