How many of the switches does the original Fourze Figuarts come with?

The Base States Fourze only comes with Rocket and Drill but they simultaneously released a stand with effect parts set and a Module set to go along with him. The Module set had Magic Hand, Radar, Launcher, and Camera.

I might actually pick this one up.

Welp, I just scored a second S.H.Figuarts Fourze Base State. My sister got it for me as an early Birthday gift along with Elec States. I'm glad that at least with FOurze, you have different display options for him. Might end up riding the Massliger, but I'm still torn if I really want that...wasn't super impressed by it to be honest.

Not sure how many SHF collectors here also collect the DBZ stuff, but I got Trunks in today.

Spent a few minutes with the figure and noticed some things different from the previous DBZ figures.

The neck is now one piece with the chest. No longer separate. Maybe its because of the collar.

The ability to lift up the upper body at the waist was also removed.

Knees are different now. Parts of the pants are now connected to the joint.

Ball and socket ankles are out and replaced with a swivel ball hinge(?). Kind of like a revoltech joint, minus the clicking. Its the same joint as the one found on SS3 Goku's neck.

The sheath plugs tightly into Trunks' back and strap also tightly pegs in thankfully. I hate straps that can't hold.

Unlike SS3 Goku, Trunks' skin tone is exactly like the images seen and not brownish orange in person.

So whats your overall opinion about the figure? Where did you get your figure? BBTS still has me on pre-order.

Got him off eBay for $50 SHIPPED. Hes a great figure, not the Trunks I want, but he is still a great addition and I see no problems with him. The two articulations they removed aren't that big of a deal since the neck joint never really did much and the extending waist just makes the figure loose even if it does give that ab crunch look. I'm just glad they didn't do any last minutes changes to the skin tone like they did with SS3 Goku. For me, that hurt Goku tremendously.

I got an anime convention coming up, so I'm hoping to find him there...dunno if I really want him though.

Review: SHF Kamen Rider Den-O Climax Form

I want Trunks. But I'm trying to keep my SHF collecting somewhat contained. I'm trying to complete Ryuki, Den-O, Double, Kuuga, Fourze, and just completed (for now) Shinkengers.

I'd like to get the Gokaigers, the DBZ figs, and eventually, someday, OOO, but I right now I feel like if I can not start these other lines then I'll be showing some small about of self control. But Id also hate to have to pay tons in aftermarket prices down the road with Trunks. So if he appears on Mandarake I could see myself grabbing him.

Yeah if you ever intend to buy the dbz figures I suggest starting now. They skyrocket after they release. Finding the older stuff at a good price can be pretty hard though. Honestly I maybe the only person who like ss3 goku. I think(even with a spray tan) he looks amazing. Even if you just start slow I recommend you get sdcc gohan coming soon and trunks.

Isnt trunks supposed to be taller than vegeta? If not the same height. I like the idea of the head swap but the short hair looks weird. Man BBTS needs to hurry up. I've waited too long for trunks.

Any other photo reviews out there for Trunks?

I'll probably make BuraKaWani my first OOO figure, since that's the only one they didn't do in OCC (as far as I know), but I keep not buying it. Think there's one on Mandarake for 3000-ish yen, if you're interested.

I'm still debating the Dragon Form Kuuga that showed up yesterday, but I shouldn't get it, since I paid for my order for SH Gun Form-Den-O and SIC Yuuki this morning. The real problem is, I think I'm going to want a second Yuuki, so I can display both forms.

Ha, I own all the current released main Heisei Riders (9), but I've only seen two of them. I'm just glad they had a Hesei and Showa era, because I'm not a fan of most, if not all, of the Showa era suits.

That's the thing with Figuarts...it's a slippery slope to fall down...soon you'll find yourself in so deep, you can't get out. My current Figuarts collection stands at 41 and growing, including bikes and doubles.

I've never seen the point in getting doubles of any figure. why do it?

Some of them, namely IXA, have alternate forms with a difference as minor as an alternate body part(in IXA's case, it's an alternate head). So if you wanna display both slightly-different forms, you'd need to buy a second figure.

And with IXA you can have it represent different characters.

But then, that's the justification I used for having both IXA and Rising IXA. Don't know who I'd call IXA #3. :P

If there isn't a case like that, I'm the same - not seeing a point in buying multiples.

I understand minor variations but literally buying 2 of the figures seems silly. Just pose them differently?! To each their own I suppose.

As I said on the other page: My sister got me a Fourze Base States Figuart as a gift. She was on a trip when she did, and she didn't know I already had one.

Fortunately, with Fourze there are options. I'll probably display the spare riding the Massliger when it comes out, or using other Moduals.

I can understand getting doubles of certain releases. Ixa and Fourze are great examples. However I think the best example is OOO GataKiriBa because he can clone himself any number of times and do a bunch of scanning charges at once.

I've decided on what Fourze I want. Magnet States. I like the design, I love the huge magnet.. cannon... thing. Anyone own one, anyone have problems?

I think it really depends. People could always have extras of figures like: OOO GataKiriBa, Kamen Rider Knight, Riotroopers, Zectroopers, and even Kamen Rider DiEnd and Kamen Rider Decade. If not for clone/troop-building reasons, you can just have multiple display options. Fourze could show off different Switch Modules, other figures can be on their bikes, and some could just be in different displays. Who knows, some may even just want MISB versions. People do it for many reasons?

We wouldn't know... it's not out yet.

Review: SHF Kamen Rider Fourze Elek States and Module Set 01

So heres my question of the day. Bandai has rights to (or has worked with) naruto. Where the naruto SHF's at? It would be so profitable...

Well they have made at least two ZEROs of Naruto and Sasuke. I don't know how well they sold, but they may have used that to determine whether to make SHFs. Or they could just be looking at it as similar to One Piece (both being manga/anime and likely attracting the same fans) and think statues > figures.

An articulated Naruto SHF (multiple actually, as if he was cloning himself) was seen in November, so it's not like Bandai hasn't considered the idea at all.

Just looked it up. Yeah thats actually awesome news. I hope those get released sometime. Bandai is really good and showing stuff off then never bringing it up again. LOL. He kinda got that pudgy belly like current naruto action figures though. Now Naruto would be a mutliple buy for me!
