Well my fear stems from the fact that just about every figure from wave 1 on is readily available and in many cases discounted. Also, when compared to other lines, usually we would have seen the next wave by now. Wave 5 was suppose to be out this month, but us delayed until July, but it is not uncommon to have already had the next wave up for pre-order before the current wave releases.

I suppose I am comparing this line unfairly to Marvel Legends where stuff is shown very far in advance.

Your other reasoning is valid, but as for delays on non-essential action figures I think I would guess a certain global pandemic being the reason first.

Just remember it's not over until it's over; Hasbro outright dropped their Overwatch Ultimates line recently. Since we're still getting stuff for the Lightning Collection announced and leaked, there's not much to worry about.

Looks like this might be what we were going to get as a SDCC Exclusive this year.

Drakkon is basically black plastic, cape, and a modded head/shield.
It makes sense to me why they could be jumping to him. He's very visibly distinct.
He's not just form one with a cape.


As to the lack of announcements. To me this is on par with what Hasbro did last year on top of a pandemic. I think it only seems like it's been slow due to them forcing one of the waves into store in time for the holidays.

If nothing is announced in June-Aug then I'd worry. All it takes is one tweet to have people waiting a few months for the next wave.

That's exciting, just ordered Psycho blue with the sale yesterday, getting more of the team would be great. And Dino Thunder white was one of my favorite suits as a kid, I'd love a good figure of that

I genuinely did not think we'd get Dino Thunder figures so soon given that that'd lead to Dino Overload (MMPR and Dino Charge are both happening rn, and of course come next year we'll be getting Dino Fury figures), but I ain't complaining about Abarekiller at all!

Dino Thunder in general just seems like a very, very easy team to do given how small it is; and how that team of five contains a Red, a 'Sixth' and a Tommy.

Considering the Wave 6 leak we got earlier, I wonder if DT White is the final figure of that Wave(which would debunk it being Grumm, sadly) or if it'll be a "Deluxe" figure like Omega and come with his ATV?

Hmmm...i wonder what that Psycho Ranger team-pack could entail. Ideally, I'm hoping it's Black, Yellow and Pink (maybe Silver thrown in for good measure). But that seems like an odd idea for a boxset from a business perspective with it having no Red, no Sixth, no MMPR and every character is a villain.

It could be a boxset of the entire team with Red and Blue included, but that would be some major double-dipping, especially with Red and Blue still being readily available (and for dirt cheap too with GameStop's recent sale).

On the other hand, I love that we're getting some Dino Thunder representation, and white is definitely the best suit in the show. I'd be very surprised if Tommy wasn't next.

I imagine Psycho Silver will likely be a Pulse Exclusive sometime in the future. And while Hasbro has done 5-Packs before, I doubt Red and Blue would be included so soon after their release. Especially since Red was already part of a 2-Pack.

When I went onto the flash sale all they ad left was Goldar. It still showed the Psycho and Lost Galaxy Red, but they weren't available. Psycho Blue wasn't anywhere to be seen. Sadly. So I snatched up Goldar. But a full team release of the Psycho's would be awesome!

I hope that Psycho set is just Pink, Black and Yellow. I don't want to re-buy Red and Blue this early in the game, I already paid more for those than I'd have liked.

For some reason this brings me back to that one MMPR episode where they are invited to a talk show and Tommy and Rocky do a little one-on-one fight choreo to show off.

I'll probably get the entire MMPR team sans Red and Green since I already have the SHF, but I'll probably wait until they are officially available on my country's Toys R Us. This guy alone costs me $30 because he's rare.

I'm gonna buy Shadow Ranger and hopefully Gold Zeo Ranger next.

Had a random thought today. Should they ever do figures for Hyper Force(and I really hope they do just so I can have a figure of Eddie), would you guys prefer they do unhelmeted heads based on the actors, or on the character art? Considering the unique nature of the show it could go either way.

Me personally I'd prefer they skip the unhelmeted heads altogether and add other accessories as a substitute, but that's just me.

I don't think they'd be able to do art-based heads for the same reason they couldn't make a head for Ranger Slayer. The tech they use for the facesculpts uses live-action images.

I get where you're coming from, but at the same time both their GI Joe and Marvel Legends lines have no issues using character art to make headsculpts. I get that each line is handled by a different team, but still.

Also funny you mention Ranger Slayer; More and more reviews of her have started popping up, and it seems like they fixed the shade of Pink that was an issue with MMPR Pink. The cape is also removeable, so I imagine I'll be swapping it out for a wirecloth cape in the future... whenever my pre-order from EE arrives.

Welp, Amazon shipped my LC Time Force Red Ranger -- that I preordered on Feb 22 -- back to the warehouse because they couldn't deliver due to "civil unrest" in my area. That didn't stop the other Amazon deliveries I've received this week, so... :confused:

An hour on the line with Amazon customer service got me nothing but an expedited refund. Apparently the wealthiest company in the world doesn't have the resources to track a package that gets set back to them. They can't do anything to have it redelivered.

Now it's out of stock everywhere and the only sellers left have hiked up the price and won't ship it till mid-July (maybe I should have preordered it-- OH WAIT I DID ON THE DAY IT WAS ANNOUNCED!). And despite Walmart's website saying they had it in stock, guess what: they didn't. I discovered this after waiting 45min just to get into the goddamn store.

So... I'm pretty upset.

I know it's lame for an adult to get upset about a toy, but in the current hurricane of bullshit around the world, all you have left to bring you joy are small things like this. I was really looking forward to this... :(

So far, I'm pretty happy with this line, and let's remind everyone that those figures are about 20 bucks. I'm asking way less things to these than for the Figuarts Line. ( But then, you compare that to what Neca does...and you feel that Hasbro could do better)

I feel that this line and the GI Joe Line are really helping Hasbro to grow since they are implementing some of the articulations you have in both of those lines in the Marvel Legends line. ( that Spider-Man is a killer, seriously.)

Also, that wave with the Ranger Slayer, is the first wave I decided to buy the complete set....And I already have Zeo Gold.
Just hoping that the left leg of Zeo Gold isn't as bad as the one in the 2 pack.

Okay, so, yikes. Hm. That's much more major than Dekamaster; I'm really gonna have to look at getting him at retail rather than ordering online... this sucks; he was specifically one of the four LC figures I was wanting :(

It's not the silver that's problem, but the enitre bit of red is way wider! It's the first time I've seen that problem among various different reviews and photos, but gosh, that's unlucky and as bad as having a whole splotch of colour on the face.

Basically it's a paint defect that upper left face is offset on the top. You can see the sculpted indents where the paint would go.

What is honestly happening in the factory? It seems like the workers are stamping everything by hand.

Yeah, just because they're $20 doesn't mean they can't be constructively criticized. Am I expecting it to be on par with, say, a $60 figure? No. But they should be able to at the very least paint within sculpted lines and effectively use the parts they already have. For example, Marvel Legends started using double ballpegs for the necks, which in itself is great, but they have them recessed way too deep to be used to their maximum effectiveness. Is it so much to ask that they raise the peg a little?

Or heck, from this very line, there was no excuse for DC Gold's' neck and handguards to not be painted, especially when DC Red did.
